Why is my SSL web page insecure? Find the culprit!HOMEFAQABOUTCONTACTBLOG
Domain Name: ireallyhatemyjob.siterubix.com
URL Tested: https://ireallyhatemyjob.siterubix.c
The SSL certificate is only available for top level domains (dot com) not for Site Rubix subdomains. When you buy your own domain name you can have SSL/HTTPS. A domain name costs around $14 for a year.
Go to https://www.whynopadlock.com
and paste the URL there.
Then contact WA-support and give them the info you'll find marked with big red X in the result.
It seems to be a general certificate validation issue and nothing wrong with your site.
hey, sorry to jump in here, but if I'm also a siterubix site and have this on the padlock check as well, should I reach out to support as well?
I would think you should as well. I know I haven't been able to figure it out on my own so far.
I've taken a look around, and I hate to ask, but do you know of another way of getting in touch with support? I'm not premium, so none of the regular options are click-able for me. Sorry.
Hello Terri,
I was confused for how to do it, and Kyle let me know that the it sirerubix sites are different, and that the SSL checks don't apply. It sounds like your own domains have SSL that needs to be checked on, but it's all done at higher levels for the SiteRubix sites.
Hope this helps,
-Mar
