If your site need more Comments.
Just a short note to all commenting. Many post requesting comments on their latest posts/page and promise one in return, if you make that promise, please keep it. Many have complained about commenting on sometimes dozens of sites that users promise to reciprocate and didn't.
Folks, WA is a community minded group working to set itself apart from others in this industry, keep that spirit alive here. Please try to make good on your promises, but don't forget to pay it forward. Comment on three sites first as the rules imply, then submit your request, think karma.
Another note, when you do comment on sites, please leave your URL. It's very helpful in trying to find the site to return the favour when users didn't note within WA that they dropped you one. I've had to try sometimes in futile attempts to track down who has graced my site with their comment, please make it easy for both of us.
Okay that's all I have to say for now. If you need a comment on your site, just drop me your url and I will be more than glad to grant the favour, I give you that promise ;)

I'm not trying to debate the good or bad of returning comments here, however, if you desire to "return the favor" and give a comment back, remember that the comment the person submitted on your website includes their website address as part of the information WordPress provides in the Comments area. Go into the Comments area of your Dashboard and click on the website address provided.
This is not always the case, if the user does not input their URL, it will not show up in that area. Some actually do forget to do so.

If the rules were actually followed people are supposed to leave 3 comments for others before asking for comments...
It does not say leave a comment and expect or ask for them in return... if you leave 3 ... and others do the same .. we all get comments back regardless of who leaves them.
There has been a big issue of this lately and debates have taken place..
I leave 3 comments.. then post my link as a new comment ... i get my comments back from whoever wants to comment.. i do not chase the people who I have made comments for !!

Well Chris, thanks for this. This was my practice before and somewhere down the line I don't know where that changed. I've noticed a number of folks making this complaint, I guess it's out of a bit of frustration.
WA training works as long as we don't stray away it, thanks for pointing out what you have, it has been taken constructively.

You are absolutely right Chris Towers. Many members here try too hard to regulate things which are already so regulated and are working just fine. I know we need the feesback in our sites and may feel even feel sometimes we are giving more than we are receiving. Trust me, WA has an awesome system, it works, no need for specialized adjustments. Just pay it forward and the universe will return the favour 7 fold.
