Hello everyone. I have a website that I want to sell but I have never done this before. What is the best place to sell it and what are the steps I need to follow? Any tips and
I have done this before, and this was through Flippa. Be ready for the following: they will ask for monthly income data in the past year or so, each month separately; you will have to give full access to ga and gsc .
Nobody will buy a site that has lost traffic recently. Be aware of this before you pay the initial fee, it may be pointless. I had to give up with selling two sites because of this.
When you sell, you will have to give full access to your site, and this will be well before you get money. It may take days, one week in my case because they apparently had problems with moving the site, and this will be an unpleasant period because you do not know what is happening with your site.
Brenda has pointed you in the best direction. In my experience Flippa.com is one of the easiest sites to start selling.
You can try Flippa dot com and Empire Flippers, those two I know, and GoDaddy, I think, for domain names. Freemarket dot com, Sedo is another one, and websitebrokers dot com. You can find all that in Google search. Tips: You can ask Google. There are a bunch of YouTube tutorials on how to do it and how to name your price, and all the answers are there. Just search for it. That is what Google is for. I found lots of answers from Google.

Hey Stratos,
Besides the awesome advice you've already received, the only additional advice that I can suggest you try is to go to your favourite search engine and ask your question... see screen print below... and see what other options that are shared in the many posts you'll be offered in SERP.
Hope you find this helpful.

Hey Stratos,
You've not mentioned what theme and plugins you're using.
GeneratePress has been the recommended theme for several years running now. They even include an option for mobile use that can be activated.
Yes, many WordPress themes are really not so compatible with mobile devices.
And, limiting plugins and removing unnecessary plugins has always been advised.
Plugins like SiteKit can be such hogs on bandwidth that I'm sure these types of plugins cause even more issues on mobile devices than desktop/laptop devices.

Hello everyone. I wanted to ask concerning my traffic. In the last three days I notice in the Google Analytics an enormous drop in my traffic to the point it is almost zero. Bu
OK it seems that problem is solved. I think because we added the codes manually and not through a plugin like sitekit when wordpress updated it deleted two of the three codes and left only the universal analytics code. Now it seems to be working again.
So to anyone that has added the GA4 code manually when wordpress updates always check if the code is still intact.
Hello
I have noticed that someone else said the same thing a few days ago, so I don't think it is you, but GA4 has something going on there. Even more if your GSC is still ok.
And how about your Universal analytics?
My GA4 is still normal though at the moment.
Also, are you sure that your GA4 code is still in your wordpress? Maybe check it out with site support if it is still there, it happened to me in the past that somehow it got deleted.
Lizzy
Well, I thought so too that it stopped working, but when I checked it still did. I've been told that it will stop completely somewhere in october? I have no clue if this counts for everyone.
Yes you are right old GA still works on all of my sites. GA4 is active yet I always have warning to finish its activation. No idea what is going on.
If you use GeneratePress theme, you can do all there, no need for plugins. There is a great Elements feature under Appearance. So add all codes of that type there.
It is very useful, use Hook option (but there are several others as well) there to add codes like GA, author under post profile, Pinterest code, etc. It allows for choosing posts or to add site-wise.

I have a problem that no one seems to know why it is happening. I will describe in as much detail my problem.
Let’s say for example that I add 10 images in one of
I have been back and forth between WA support, GeneratePress support and Wordpress support and so far our findings are the following.
MacOS the photo appears sharp.
Android the photo appears sharp.
Windows/FireFox the photo appears sharp.
Linux/Chromium the photo appears sharp.
Only with Chromium based browsers/Windows it appears blurry.
Hey Stratos,
It sounds though you do not understand what resolution is. Resolution is the dots per inch. What you appear to be explaining is your image's width and height size.
I agree with Phil (aka foreigner) that your images are way to tiny, thus blurry.
Instead of uploading those giant images, if you resize them to the EXACT size you want to use on your web page, and THEN upload them; I think you will find that works best.
Personally, when using image that I want to have sit to the right of a paragraph, I tend to use 300 for my image width.
If you're using Windows then you have access to the photo editing software called Paint. To find tutorials on that subject, check out the screen print below that shows you how to find them.
Hope you find this helpful.
Hi, Stratos
Interesting problem.
I use GeneratePress and all my images look great on PC, Windows, tablet, and smartphone.
I’m using Windows 11 and the latest version of Wordpress.
Images always look clearer on my iPhone, due to the higher screen resolution, compared to my Mac and PC monitors.
If GeneratePress support is not finding (vs. seeing) the problem, it’s very unlikely that it’s your theme configuration, and more likely something affecting WordPress adversely.
Did you have them take a look at an actual page from a display coding perspective?
Have Site Support make you a staging copy and try different themes and everything else you can think of.
You’ve probably already done this, but I would disable all your plugins, one by one, and see if that corrects the problem.
Code changes in updated plugins can cause display problems, so it’s worth a try, even if you haven’t added new ones.
I resize all my images in the block editor using the predefined sizes (25, 50, 75, 100%) or the image sizing handles, to keep the aspect ratio constant.
To get you closer to my property functioning workflow, try using Canva instead of photoshop to process and resize your images.
When you’ve tried all the obvious things, the next step is to apply corrective measures that are very unlikely to provide the solution.
Give me a link to a problematic post and I’m happy to try it on my Mac.
Frank
After going back and forth with both WA and GeneratePress support I have a small clue of where the problem may be. WA support told me they could also see the problem with the blurry photo and they use Windows. On the other hand GeneratePress support uses MacOS and they can see the image sharp and not blurry. Me on the other hand I tested this in two Windows 11 laptops and both show the image blurry. My Samsung smartphone on the other hand show the image sharp.
I am wondering if this is a windows/wordpress issue as both Chrome and Edge browser shows these images blurry in my computer.
If some of you people have MacOS and willing to give it a try and tell me how it looks to you please send me a message and I will provide you a link.
You can check out your EWWW pluggin. If you have this on your website. Deactivate and see what happens. How to solve image resizing problems for your blurry header

Hello. The last few days I have tried a lot to find an answer to my problem but still I cannot get a clear answer.
As you all know the new Google Analytics 4 properties
Hey Stratos,
You're not alone. Google's GA4 now has more hoops for EACH user to jump through before they can activate it come July.
I shared my experience with another member yesterday. If you're interested in what I learned, here's a link to my comment: Question about the ga4 and setup? Hope you find this helpful.
You may like to call site support for assistance here.
