I am wondering something, does anyone know is it possible to export your website content without loosing all your work and pages, posts, images, etc?

Hi Steph:). I may not be adding anything to the discussion, but it's good to see you around! I thought about you recently, and wondered how you were doing:)
Blessings:)

You can make a full backup of your website and upload it to a test site to make sure that everything has been included, before you actually export the site. ~Jude

seems to be sound advice .It is great learning from other member's questions

Hi Stephanie, I've never given it a thought, sorry.

I am sure it is possible, and I see that Triblu has also given you some good guidance on this.
Good luck.
Remember - site support is a great help with these kinds of things ;)
cheers - Orion

Don't it depends on where you export it to?

The only this that is applicable is if the target destination has enough space to hold the files.

Hey Stephanie,

It SURE is possible. I've done it several times... and if your website is small enough to use the WP Clone plugin, it will even change up the URL within EVERY internal link if you use the zip file to "restore" your website to a totally NEW domain name. I've done THAT several times. However, if your website is tad too big, you can use the All-in-One WP Migration: Hope this helps you.

I imported my site from another hosting company to WA. WA gave me the information on what to do and then completed it for me. I did not lose any content at all. It came over perfectly. So I'm thinking if you can import a site, you should be able to export it.

This may have to be preemptive Steph with a cloned site I would be most interested in a definitive answer!

Yep. I was thinking of that too - a "clone site" --- Thank you Mike.
