Did you know that Emotions affect the organs?

Last Update: March 15, 2018

Emotions and Organs

The body reacts to different Emotions with feelings. Emotions described are metaphysical experience paralleled by a psychological process and by biological responses. The Traditional Chinese medicine sees seven emotions. Anger, Joy, Grief, Pensiveness, Anxiety, Fear and Fright. It might be a surprise that each emotion affects the health of an organ differently according to the Shen -Nong. According to David Osborne, the greek medicine is the root of traditional western medicine, and it also takes into consideration the effect of emotions on the organs. Organs play a significant role in the health of your expressions in emotions.

Here is an excellent example: Most alcoholics are angry and have a short temper. Anger correlates with the liver. Most alcoholics have a liver that is taxed and is crying out for help.
People what cannot express themselves and worry too much have or accumulate stomach ulcers.

We suspect that the organs play a vital part in our emotions as we can sometimes feel the different reactions and emotions. We also have a few sayings like

" cold hands, warm heart",

What the eye does not see, the heart does not grieve over

Listen to your gut feeling,
It turns my stomach around,

and so on just to mention a few

THE BOTTOM LINE: Understand what is going on in your body and with your nervous system internally. It will help you in the long run.

Reboot your body with self-care rituals like drinking hot water ( not too hot drinkable) daily. The best time to drink hot water is in the morning on an empty stomach and throughout the day.

Drinking hot water temporarily begins to raise your internal body temperature. When you drink hot water, your body’s endocrine system activates, and you start to sweat. While sweating might be uncomfortable, it’s an essential part of getting rid of toxins and irritants that you been exposed to in your environment.

Meditation is another form of calming, getting focused and centred.

Value your health don't wait until you get sick to be reminded that health is something no money in the world can buy.

To keep the body in good health is a duty... otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear. (Buddha)

I am a big fan of Louise L. Hay books, and it's a great loss for humanity she died last year. The body, mind, and soul is a oneness, and effects all parts when love and harmony are confused.

Hi Loes
I am a big fan of Louise Hay too, especially her meditations they are so down to earth. Louise Hay moved on to something new and exciting. She left a big footprint in peoples life.
I love her healing with the mirror. She talks to the mirror like a friend. She accomplished such a great relationship with herself.
