How would I transfer a domain from GoDaddy? How do I find the transfer verification code?
if you have owned the domain for more than 60 days you can transfer it ...
the transfer code will be obtainable within your godaddy account - you will need to switch off hte lock as well to allow the transfer...
if you haven't owned it for more than 60 days then you can change the nameservers and host it here at wa...
a couple of members have created tutorials and a quick search undr the spy glass at the top will locate them...
I've owned my name on GoDaddy for several years. I'll follow your instructions to transfer to Wealthy Affiliate.
Thanks so much for your help!

Hey Rosa,
If you mean your website that is hosted on WA servers... the one you have forwarded to your gmail account, then all you need to do is open the email, click reply, type in your message and then click send and it will be issued using your domain email.
Here's a tutorial on this: How To Use Your Gmail Account For Your WA Email Addresses Hope you find this helpful.
Hi Rosa, if you go to Websites on the left then select Site Manager you will then see the option for Site Email in the top menu bar (second from right).
you should be able to log in there and see your emails.
Hope this helps
Paul

I have two websites. Is it possible to get a custom domain name for email for each of my sites? How much will this cost? Thanks.
Hey Rosa,
What I did for a client was register 2 separate domains for them. The domain they use for their website, and the one they use for their email. The domain setup to be used for their domain, I simply added a redirect to their website so that if anyone decided to be clever, poof! they'd be pushed to the website domain.
Hope you find this helpful.
You can do:
Name1@domain.com
Name2@domain.com
etc...
Or ...create free sub-domain(s) and do
Name@sub1.domain.com
Name@sub2.domain.com
etc...
But to get a unique "domain" email, you will need to purchase additional domain names.Hope that makes sense
Joe

if you purchased your domain at WA then was it not hosted here or was it pointed elsewhere while the work was done?
if that is the case then all the developer need is the nameservers to host your new site back here, rather than your login details.
just thoughts

in thory you can use something like wpclone to copy the site and recreate it here.
I found wpclone a bit of a pain and there will be other plugins which work smoother. i think duplicator or something like that.
this way you keep control of your business.
you can set them up as another administrator for a short time and then delete that administrator account form your site if you want to let them in.
so setup your site with any theme and add them as an administrator with their own password. let them setup your site till you are happy with what they have done and then change the password or delete their administrator account.
what exactly are they setting up for you?
I finally decided to contact tech support and they quickly responded with the login info I should give the developer. So I'm all set.
I greatly appreciate your help, Feigner!!
Thank you so much!!!
