Another thing you may want to do as a deterrent is to go to copyscape.com and get one of their copyrighteed banners. At the end of the day there is not a lot you can realistically do and to be honest you spend so much time trying it is often best to let it go. However in my experience you will go down the Michelle route first, but the fact is anyone determined to copy your website will do so
are you also using a plugin to stop them right clicking, it doesn't entirely prevent, just makes it a bit harder
was hoping the whole google ranking system would make copied content suffer - how are they ranked with that copied article?
Actually on page 2, I'm in the top 3 for several keywords but it might affect my rankings I don't know...
hm , Kyle was always warning us about not copying as it would effect our ranking, but those guys seem to be getting away with it for now

I could see where this would offer some protection for images, but what's to stop someone from retyping content?

These copy protection plugins are a deterrent only - if someone is that determined to steal your content then they will - even if that means manually typing it all out!
There's only so much you can do.

Go to Plugins > Add New
At the top right-hand side in the search bar, put in 'WP Content Copy Protector.'
Different plugins will come up. The first one listed I think is the one being referred to here. It's called 'WP Content Copy Protection & No Right Click.'
Click the install button. After that there is probably a Settings option that you would need to click to set it the way you want.
That is awful. I am sorry, I do not know the other questions answers. There is a plugin that you can get to stop people copy and paste from your pages. Hope that helps. You are obviously writing great content. keep it up.

Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, you can file a complaint with Google.

Great, it will be interesting to see what happens next. Also, Google will know where the article originated from so there will be no issue of who the real author is!

I hate copying - would like to think there is more we can do about it, including getting others to mail them [not visit their site but complain to them too]
This is the way you should approach this if you are really concerned, but do know this. If you get copied by someone, Google will actually punish their website for duplicate content. They can actually deindex an entire site as a result of this and Google always rewards the first website with the content on it.
So don't be too concerned, people will effortlessly copy your content but they will not be rewarded and it will not impact your overall rankings (as you are the first to the market).

Do you think that filing a DMCA complaint with the offender's hosting company be worth doing?
what if they change the date in edit - can google know their post is newer? Already she is on page 2 with his copied post, so it will be interesting to see how long it takes google to notice

Hey, it's been a couple of times now that a plugin like a sharing plugin or ''monetization tool'' I download doesn't work properly on my site cause it can't connect to the APIs.
there are some restriction for the protection of the servers, ask support I had a problem with a plugin when I deactivated it all was well, try deactivating some see how it goes
I believe that some things are blocked but not everything. I'd submit a ticket to support and see (& please do report back with your findings).

Your site is looking good Simon, however, there are some small errors in the grammar, and I think that by mentioning things like Qoin Pro, you are distracting your audience. Rather stick to promoting WA.
I hope this will help you in some way, it's my friendly and honest opinion.
Your site is looking nice, clean easy layout, but just was not sure what your actually promoting is it WA or your own online training...
I really like it ... particularly like your theme and the way the menus are done. Some of your areas have a good amount of content, although there are a few items in your menu that aren't populated yet (e.g. Google + and Small Task Jobs) ... it might have been easier to simply leave these off the menu until there are posts to go in there.
To me your website comes off as just a bunch of reviews about different products. I don't know what your sites niche is.Although it was easy for me to navigate your site, but a newbie I think it would be confusing. There is no flow they wouldn't know where to start. I might of mist this but did not see many links on a few pages. You are giving info and interacting with your audience, thats good. your graphics and the way you built your site is great. Tell me is your theme that allows you to fade colors in and out or is it simon secret?
