I created a Facebook account for my business. Facebook has the option to promote your page by reaching thousands of people to get likes. There is a daily fee. Has anyone tried

If the ad or campaign is set up right it will produce positive results.

Have payed for my page it's worth if you are in business.

I use facebook to promote my shopify stores, but not my personal website.

Have you paid Facebook to do any promoting (by sending ads).

Yes i have use paid FB ads

Would you recommend it?

it's not highly recommended. I haven't had much success with FB ads, but then it all depends on what you're selling

I will consider that. Thank you. I appreciate your help.

Is it good for your store to promote there? I have a store I have really done nothing with yet. Would like to look at your page if you could send me a pm :)

it got some traffic to my stores but not a lot of sales.

you can see my store links in my profile page (the baking supplies store and horse tshirt store)

Very interstimg. I too would like to hear results.
Thanks

I have not tried this, but it might be worth a shot. If you do proceed with the offer, please let us know how it worked out. Thank you, and best of luck

I will definetly share my results if I proceed.

I read a post on here a little while ago where a guy ended up paying 15 cents a lead and was very pleased.

Facebook charges $2-$15 a day in the US. They run ads for 10 days which reach 17 thousand to 181 thousand people. It sounds like it might be worth giving it a try.

When I post a link from my site in Facebook and Google Plus it does not upload a photo, its just blank. A photo used to be automatically uploaded from my site when a link is po

The only solution that worked for me when using the previous themes I did was this: Now mu sites are using fully optimized premium themes and no longer need this plugin.

Thank you Trish for the tip. I actually was able to resolve the issue. I had to update my social media settings in the all in one SEO. Now photos are showing up again.

This has happened to me before, the photo does not appear to upload but when posted it appears online. It may not be the same, but try posting even if you don't see the pic.

Ok thank you. I will try that.

it could be that the photo is too large. Photos have to have a certain size limit,

I just realized this started happening after I added Google Adsense. I wonder if this has anything to do with it...... Maybe the ads are interfering somehow.

Hello, I am using WooCommerce to sell products on my site. I can't figure out how to make purchases secure (https). My settings say I need to get an SSL certificate. Where c

Hi Shelly,
My understanding of this is.. you have to own your domain to have a secure site. I maybe wrong on this.
Kathi

Good to know. Thank you.

PayPal appears to be the most seamless offer!

Thank you for your help.

You can go to the SSL certificate site, and you will have different vendors offering you the certificate. Some will give you a free trial for x amount of time after which you pay x amount. You can also go through PayPal and they will take care of all the security you need to sell your product.

Thank you, I will look into that.

Thank you Anthony. I watched the video and made sure the SSL Certificate is activated, which it was, but for some reason it is not showing the site as secure when someone goes to make a purchase

You were right. All I had to do was activate my SSL certificate, then I added an SSL plug in and it works now! Thanks!

I figured out how to add an affiliate banner to my webpage, but I can't figure out how to make it open up in a new window when clicked. Any advice?

Thanks

Here you can find a code to open any external link on your website into a new tab.

Thank you!

My pleasure sharing:)

Here is a solution: Hope it helps.

I think this is what I was looking for. Thank you!

I'm so happy.

You can do it by changing the link address to that of the image and choose the option to open in a new window but I'm wondering why you want to do this?

Thank you for your response. If a banner link is opened in a new window people are more likely to browse my website longer. I was able to add an affiliate link that opens in a new page, but I don't see the same options for banners.

If you copied the HTML code and simply pasted into your web page (text) it will show up (visual) and when you publish then visit the page.. click on the banner and it should automatically open the new browser window to WA. No need to do anything..

Thanks I will take another look at it.
