It's Time To Forgive Yourself

When embarking upon a new career field, some are found to become their own worst critics.

Questions come to mind:

Why am I not catching on faster?

Am I stupid?........Why can't I understand this?

Why are other websites more successful than mine?

How much more do I have to learn?

How can I find more time?

The answers lie within forgiveness for ourselves.

Just remember back to childhood when grade-school was primary. Each year brought new challenges, building upon what you had already learned.

Basic adding and subtracting was elevated to fractions and decimals; then graduated to Algebra and Geometry.

Reading and writing followed the same educational ladder.

You found yourself to be frustrated because it wasn't easy...Or you found it stupid because your mind-frame of logic could not place its significance.

Through the use of our parents, grandparents, friends, tutors, and mentors, we were able to wade through the muck and mire of education to find the logical use.

We we able to forgive ourselves and appreciate what we had learned and how to apply it our lives.

Even though we are older, the same still applies...

Look closely at this graphic........See it????

It's there.......Look a bit closer.............."University"

WE ARE BACK IN SCHOOL FOLKS!!

We have to again learn like we did when we were kids.

Like I mentioned earlier, we have embarked on something new that many of us have no idea what it entails.

But this is logical, this has direct application, this is .....................OVERWHELMING!

Again, it will take time to effectively grasp what we are trying to do here.

But, we are able to immediately apply what we are learning to see what works and does not work.

The frustration will still mount.

But remember this, the mixture of learning and patience will produce applicable knowledge.

Now, place in there some forgiveness of yourself.........Now, you have wisdom.

Just remember to allow yourself some forgiveness!

and have a little fun in the meantime.............

Be Creative and Productive.

All my best!

Hi Greg, loved the post. Irv.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Great message, Greg, and so important!

Agreed! Thanks for taking the time.

Great Post, Greg. Very helpful.
Thank you.

Paul.

My pleasure Paul. Thanks for stopping by.

That really is the way to look at what we're doing here 'Learning'.

So onto more learning for me.

Thanks for the post Greg.

You're welcome Tommy. Keep up the great work.

Thank's for your post!! Greg

You're very welcome Brian.

Great post. I think the main problem with us all is that we're impatient. We don't want to look at this like school. And we certainly dont want to wait years for our education to be complete. So what's the solution? I guess we need to learn patience, but then I guess we also need to really apply ourselves. Maybe some do catch on quicker than othets, but that's not the point is it? The point is that we all CAN do it we push ourselves. Thanks for the great thoughts.

You're welcome, and thanks for the great addition.
I couldn't agree with you more.

Thank you, Greg, for posting this blog, I do not remember, ever, being reduced to tears by maths in school, but so often just lately I will throw a hissy fit at my own stupidity for not getting this website and marketing info into my thick brain.

A little forgiveness will go a long way in helping me, also remembering school and being a little more patient with my 55 yr old brain.LOL:-))Steph

You're very welcome Steph.

The thing that I always have to do is remember that the internet was not built yesterday. Therefore, I can't master it in a day.

Keep up the great work.

You are so right about being back at school again! I am really trying to focus on what I have learned instead of how long it's taking to learn it or how much more there is to go:)

Thanks for commenting. Have a great day!

Thanks for the post! Sometimes we are too harsh with ourselves, forgiving yourself and learning lesson by lesson through WA will pay dividends.

My pleasure.

I absolutely agree! Thanks for stopping by.

I need to learn to forgive myself for not managing to be all things to all people, no matter how hard I try. Thank for this Greg.

We can only do what we can and forgive ourselves for what we can't.

We can only do so much.

You're very welcome Jude.
