Google will naturally index your content if you have Console set-up (as they have access to your SiteMap), but if you want to request indexing you can.
To request indexing you can do so here: How to Request Indexing in Google (Through Search Console)

Dear Community,
Could I please ask how to improve my page speed scores.
Cheers.
Apologies for not including the screenshot of the diagnostics report.
I am also told that I can use plug ins for fixing these issues -- is that right?
Cheers.
Hi Sohell
I see Kyle's response which is, as you'd expect, spot on.
I'd add:
First make sure you're using a fast theme. WA.s recommended Generate Press is in the top 5 or so.
Then make sure images are optimised.
Third be sure that you're only using plugins that you really need and make sure that those remaining have a minimal impact on page load speed.
Then if not already turned on, turn on WA's Site Speed under Details for your site at the WA Site Manager.
If you need more info, ask.
;-)

What are your page speed scores? The most common culprits for slowing down your website are Plugins, Bloated Themes, and images.
What is your current score, and drop us a URL that you want to look at. :)

Hi - by making sure that your posts are better than your competitors, who are already ranking on page 1.
More informative, more in-depth, and most importantly, more unique.
What personal experience are you bringing to the internet, that your competitors haven't mentioned?
Keep going, posting new compelling content and sharing onward social media platforms... Posting supplementary content to Medium .com, UGC, Linkedin, etc.

How do we define and edit post categories. For example, when I post on my website, WP asks us about the category which we want to assign to it. What's this based on? And if
Abie answered how to change the categories, which is relatively easy. However, what the categories are are completely up to you. I base mine on the topic of my posts. For example, if I have a website about baking, my main category will be Baking. I make categories under the baking umbrella, like pies, pastries, breads, etc. Then I do sub-subcategories for these like no sugar,
gluten-fruit, vegetables, etc.
I think this is what you meant when you asked what this is based on.

Thanks Nancy. My broad category is affiliate marketing— as this is my chosen niche. The posts for this website come under a variety of categories— from niche research to micro influencers. The categories I was referring to were these (sub?) categories. May I ask if my interpretation seems correct to you. Cheers
Hi Samuel,
If I understand it right, the main category is affiliate marketing; then subcategories beneath that, such as research, influencers, affiliate programs, etc. Or you could narrow the main category and make subs below that. In other words, you would have a parent category listed as research, and it has subcategories beneath that, like keywords, general information, SEO, etc. You can do them any way that you feel makes sense.
Nancy
You can hover over posts and click categories.
Create as many categories as you like; don't forget to add the slug.
Then, you can head to Appearance > Menus, and provided you create a menu first, you can start adding those categories.
Then, you can head to your posts and assign them to their respective categories. You can assign a post to more than one category.
So, when folks click on a specific category, they can see all related posts.
