I am trying to set up a store to sell items via credit card. I am trying to activate my SSL and do not know about the CSR code or the Webserver type. Does anyone have a store o
Richard if your site is hosted at WA there is no way to do this. At this time the WA platform is not set up for SSL. You can however use Paypal to accept credit cards.
Are you serious? that seems bazaar...especially when I have heard people saying that we can make more money by selling items ourselves...i thought that was where we were supposed to move...
payPal is a great option. With a business account your customers do not have to have a PayPal account to make a purchase.

Having the same problem with the SSL certificate and a CSR code, I just contacted WA Support. Unfortunately, it's not supported yet but they're working on it to make it available in the near future.
The attached image shows their respond.
In the meantime, use PayPal as Tim has suggested. This gives you a payment option, which provides secured transaction for your customers.
There's always a "work around" to offer your own product and add a PayPal buy button, so that they go through the payment process via a secured PayPal site.
Kind of like a pain in the b*tt but it works, too.

I am building a website that will sell items. I am assuming that I can have it hosted at WA, like my other websites. But where do I get an SSL Certificate?

My menu is being displayed alphabetically on the site, although I have it set up differently in the Menu Structure. I am using BG Photo Frame layout...any ideas as to why my me
I had this problem also, turns out I had to first save the menu AND THEN save the site, too. And the changes took effect.
I see you're not getting any answers Richard. I suspect that is because others are like me and just don't know.
It is probably theme related so you might want to try contacting the theme developers for help. That is about all I can suggest.
Good luck with your hunt!

I have tried to verify my ownership of my site to use Google Webmaster Tools but I must be doing something wrong. I have tried uploading an HTML file, Meta tag and through Goog
Here's the instructions for uploading a HTML file How to Verify Your Website With Google, Yahoo & Bing Using FTP You could also use your SEO plugin to verify your site Google Verification Using All In One SEO Google Verification Using Yoast SEO
Thank you SO much! For some reason I had a complete mental block completing the Google verification. It was only when I watched and completed the verification using the All In One SEO that it made COMPLETE sense to me.
You saved me!
May be you can try to verify you webmaster tool account by using your google analytics account.

I want to build a website where people can build a virtual shirt in stages: material, style, graphics, etc. Is there some sort of plugin that will keep track of the decisions m
Sorry, I misread your post. Tracking....
https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/aftership-woocommerce-tracking/
Yes, there are a couple:
https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/tshirt-designer/
https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-custom-product-designer/10959830
Or there are affiliate programmes:
http://www.zazzle.co.uk/sell/affiliates
http://www.designbyhumans.com/affiliate/
I hope this helps :-)
Unfortunately, the last suggestion didn't quite work...Do you have another suggestion? Please?
I would suggest that you ask this question on the WordPress forum. I am sure someone over there or WordPress will respond. I hope it works out for you. Here's the link - https://wordpress.org/support/
Hi Richard. Could this be it? The One Wordpress Plugin You Shouldn’t Live Without I hope this helps
