Tips To Get One Way Links
Linking To Your Website For Home Business Success
Hi Folks
Getting inward relevant links to increase traffic for your home based business can be quite a difficult process.
Even when you find other sites that are willing to exchange links there is no guarantee that your link will end up to a relevantly optimized page. Even though you post to free Directories you can still wait for weeks for your hyperlink to be published.
However there are ways to get guaranteed relevant inward one way links.
Experienced web masters have realized that exchanging reciprocal links is quite a bit less effective as it used to be. A lot of the major search engines actually give a lower rating for a link exchange than they do for an one-way link anyway so why bother.
So how do you go about getting quality inward or backlinks for your home based business site? Most of us have heard of the ABC format of exchanging links, and there is a lot of SEO sites tell you how this is done. They don't tell you where the best places are to get these links.
If your businesses site depends on search engine traffic as compared to other strategies like pay per click or specific opt-in email lists, then getting inward one-way links is important to the success of your business.
Whether or not your website pages have been finely tuned to achieve the maximum benefits from SEO, without good quality relevant links you have very little hope of showing up on the first page of the SERPs. (If you have keywords with low competition you might be in with a chance).
This kind of being so you will still want to have a backlinks strategy or campaign. This is mainly because there are at least a million new domains added to the Web everyday. For that reason without quality links its only a matter of time before competition will take your place in the listings.
So what will be the options? There are many sites that cater to getting inward links for webmasters. Some require payment for their services others require you post a hyperlink back to them. The danger of this is you have no control where your link eventually ends up or if the search engines class the service provider as a link farm.
Here is a way that is not hard and will guarantee all links you get are one way to your site and will encourage other website owners to backlink to you and all the relevant sites you link to.
Create your own Organization Directory on a Sub-Domain of your website. Sub-Domains are treated as specific websites by search machines. Therefore you posting your link to other sites on your Directory and they posting their links to your primary site in their site means both of you have achieved a one way link.
Optimizing the pages in your Sub-Domain for linking categories.
For Example - directory links, article links, your keywords etc and posting in links from your entire sites and blogs to your directory there is a benefit for other website owners to exchange links with you and link rankings will flow through to these links.
Here is a quick tip for finding future back-links on Yahoo (Google can take several weeks to update backlinks) for sites you are considering exchanging links rather than typing in the search field link: the web link - type - my site: WEB ADDRESS
There you go folks. If you wish to give it a go with a Sub-Domain you will lose nothing but a wee bit time. By the way Marion Black has a training on building a Sub-Domain here - Marion Blacks Training

Have a great weekend.

Hi Veronica and thank you for reading my blog and for your comment.
Hope you read the Wiki article on Link Farms, these are to be avoided at all costs.
Enjoy your Sunday.
Robert
I hadn't read it, so I decided to take look. I didn't realize Link Farms had been around so long; very interesting and much too complex for me. On the surface, Link Farms seems like it would prove to be very beneficial, but that's dependent on all parties operating with integrity. I'll pass...
Link Farms are not worth the risk Veronica.
Much better if you create your own sub domain directory.
