3 Things To Optimize User Experience
How To Optimize Your Content For Your Audience
Hi Folks
I published a blog a few days ago.
(https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/robert-a/blog/how-to-get-your-seo-right-first-time). In it there was a link to a great source of information that would be off great help to those who are just starting out as new members of Wealthy Affiliate. However some of the members who read this information are still getting back to me with the simplest of questions. The three main ones asked I have answered below. Hopefully they will now understand what that other article was telling them.
Ok, you have your keywords and you are writing your post. Your goal with your content is to supply your visitor with a solution to their problem. Of course you must insert your keywords or keyword phrase but do not stuff your article with them. This is important because you could be penalized for this practice.
Make sure you use your keywords in specific areas.
For example within your Tags - H1, H2, H3 and H4.
Use Images And Alt Tag
Next up is your Alt Tag. A lot of people seem to overlook this and they shouldn't because it is a very important part of your SEO.
To effectively leverage images for SEO purposes, it is vital that you utilize keywords for the image’s file name; be sure to use your most important keyword first.
Within your Alt Tag you should include a brief description of the image. Again do not stuff it with keywords. An accurate description will suffice.
Write Your Own Meta Descriptions
Although your meta description doe not have a direct impact on SEO, it will have a direct impact on a searcher's perception of your page. A lot of the time they will decide whether or not to visit your site based on your description.
You should type your own meta description because if you don't the search engines will take words from the first paragraph of your post. Those words might not fully explain what a visitor will find within your content. Again make sure you include keywords and an accurate description of your content and what problem(s) it solves.
This will become easier in time, and all it takes is a wee bit of practice. It’s the reaction of your visitors that matters.
Use Keywords For Your URL
URLs play an important role in how a page ranks. A URL that is rich (but not stuffed) in keywords has a tendency to rank better than those that are less relevant to the page’s content offerings. Here you will want to include any keywords or phrases (including long-tailed ones) to provide search engines with further context about the page.
Remember your Title becomes your URL so choose carefully. The title also becomes your Permalink and this is what the search engines see and will rank you accordingly.
I have published an article on this as well here -

Ok folks there you go and please try to get it right, and right first time BEFORE you publish.
Anyone who has read that article I linked to and has their own ideas then please share via a comment below.
Be successful.

All info will be relevant somewhere down the line so at least learn and know how and where to use it.
