The app won't let me login. It's asking for an email vs "admin". I also tried with the site option, but it says it can't find my site. Any tips? Thanks!
I have not used that app in a while but it used to attempt to log you in to wordpress .com by default.
You had to manually 'add self hosted site' in the bottom somewhere.

The app is for wordpress dot com not for your wordpress dot org website.
You can login to your website from your browser (Safari) using domainname.com/wp-admin and typing in your WordPress username and password (or your email address and password). Your browser should remember the details for next time you access your website.
Just tested it out from my iPhone. (App version 8.5 on ios 11.0.3)
Logging in works fine on self hosted wordpress .org sites.
Like I said below you have to manually add your /wp-admin url at the bottom and after that it logs you in just fine.
However, from an iPhone it seems a bit fiddly to work with, and it is very limited what you can do in the app. It redirects you to a browser login if you try to accomplish anything.
