Hi.

I am thinking to use page break for my blog post

<!--nextpage-->

In long article maybe (I thought) it will be nice to break the page into 2 or 3

Hi Kiki, most of my posts are between 1500 to 3000 words and I do not use a page break. I guess it is like watching a TV show with or without commercials. I prefer if they do not have the commercials.

Best wishes,
Michael

Ah ok Michael, thanks! I need to learn how to make them stick to my blog post 😀
Kiki

WOW! Thanks for asking this, Kiki! I learned something too!

Jeff

Thank Jeff, I am learning as well

Again, well done!

Great question. I see Chrys has you covered. Have a great day.

Trevor

Thanks Trevor

If the post is over 4,000 words, then yes, this can sometimes help, as it means you can have 2 x 2k posts.

You don't want each page/post less than 1k words though

Thanks Chrys,
So if I have 1250 words, it is still better to make it as long blog post, rather than use page break? Any reason why I should not break it if it is less than 1000 words?
Kiki

That's correct, yes, if you split a 1k post into 2 x 500 posts, then they would not rank as well in the search engines. The average post length on page 1 of Google is between 1,400 and 2,200 words.

Ah Ok... Thanks Chrys!!

Hi,

I was reading Pastor Dre question -

Good info!

Thank you Jeff

You're very welcome

Great question and great answers

Thank you

They are not important, I don’t have them on my site

Apparently so, Thanks Lisa

You are very welcome

Hi - green check marks only show up depending on what antivirus software you use. For example, I don't use Norton or McAfee, therefore I never see them. Therefore, it may be that the majority of your audience doesn't see them anyway. As you say, you need to pay to get them, so you need to weigh up whether its worth up.

Hi Diane,
Thank you for your comment, I do not use mcafee nor norton, but in the search result (desktop) it will show green check mark. In my ipad or iphone does not show only the favicon.
Is it important? Or It is just to ignore? (Does not make any different for potential reader to choose your article)
Kiki

Hi - I don't believe its important, I don't have it for any of my sites, and have never had a problem getting people to read my posts.

Ok Thanks Diane.., appreciate it

I. Am here with you but You’re not gonna believe this I have no idea what you’re talking about are you might be ahead of me that might be it I’m so sorry I hope someone else answers you Callie

Hi Holly,

I am talking about green check-marked before your title (search result). See attachment.
Apparently, it is not that important; people will read your article anyway when you are interested in that article (or the keyword that you have been searching for)
