Hello!
The only help I find in WordPress forums for this is to go into the editor and I'm not proficient in there. The menu is above the header and it looks like an easy f

I did this for 2 builds using the above instruction - If you need a hand, let me know - I'm sure Craig can help though - Colin
Hi Craig...I was trying to avoid bugging you since you so recently helped me...and I have to differ...I SWEAR I didn't touch it and looked in forums and it seems that I'm not the only one with that problem...saw a quick fix in the editor but I'm scared to go there by myself...lol
lookshere's what I got...
ideally in a child theme of Twenty Twelve, move this section of header.php:
<!-- #site-navigation -->
to just before:
</header><!-- #masthead -->
I know this makes sense to some people...I'm not one of them...it looks easy enough but I'm bound to mess that one up...and create more work and frustration...
If you want me to have a look just send me a PM with some details.
So was the menu below header previously?
I think it was before I added an actual Header image...when it was just the text of the site name and tagline, I think the menu was under them but I added the Header (via Appearance/Header) before I nixed the site name and tagline and voila...the image dropped in under the menu... :(
Have you looked under Appearance - Customize or Header and see if they give you any options there?
Sorry, was hoping it would just be a simple setting there for yah. I know I ended up changing themes a lot in the early stages until I got one that met all of my needs.
I wish these things were always that easy... :)
Thanks for the help tho...many wouldn't know that much. But I'm far from an expert...
Hi Renni,
By default the menu is below the header image with Twenty Twelve.
Well at least it is on my test site.
Craig
