There and Back Again
When I first started with WA, I was between jobs and had plenty of time to devote to it. I got a wonderful part-time job, caring for an elderly woman in her home. It provided enough to squeak by financially, while - I thought - building my WA business. Recently, however, I got another temporary job that pays fairly well, and takes up all the rest of my time and energy. I've been working 120+ hour weeks for the last two weeks, and will be working around 90 while I'm doing the two jobs going forward. That leaves little to no oomph for working on my website.
Ultimately, I don't want to have to worry about when the next temp job will come up, nor do I enjoy punching that timeclock. For now, I'm coming here and reading success stories, reminding myself that I can do this - eventually - and writing as I have time and synapses available. I still believe WA will be able to do for me what these temp jobs can't, but it's nice to be able to pay my bills and put a little aside for the next "between jobs" period. You know, that period when I can get back to THIS again!
For me, just coming and seeing your encouraging stories, and seeing what a great community of help and encouragement WA provides, is my "success story." One of these days, there will be more to show for it!

Hi Randi, nice to have you back....jump right back in and do it like there's no tomorrow. WA is just wonderful, I am so grateful that I found this opportunity along with a great community of wonderful people. :))
Hi Randi, it's great to see you back at WA. I know you've been working hard on your site and I know it will only get better as you move along.
This is the period in online business where a lot of people quit because they don't see their desired results and this is the biggest mistake because it's these times that are going to be the tipping point.
if you have any questions or need me to look at anything, simply PM me.
If you can work 120 hours a week, you can do just about anything, Randi, including WA. Life happens. I know that better than most. I work 3 part-time jobs right now. My goal, like yours, is not to have to do that. We'll leave the light on for you. Come back when you can, but do what you have to do first.
You are working very hard. I'm sure I wouldn't have much energy left for websites if I was in your situation! But I do agree with Jean, maybe just an hour a week would be enough to keep things ticking over. Take care. Peter
Keep it up. The one thing to remember is that even a little bit of work on your site as you have time really builds up over time. The biggest factor between success and failure is simply not doing anything. If you can put in even an hour a week and consistently learn and implement the lessons here you will eventually start seeing progress =). Never give up and lots of power to ya! Best of luck to your success and if you ever need anything do not hesitate to ask
Jean
And this is why I keep coming back - all of you and your support and encouragement! Thank you so much, and rest assured, you haven't seen the last of me!
