Hi - and what would be the incentive for somebody to write you a post?

Typically, they would expect to be able to leave a link in their post, leading back to their website.

This would give them a "backlink", but as your website will have very low domain authority at this point, then it wouldn't benefit them in any way.

And, of course, you are unlikely to be getting traffic at this early stage, so nobody would see their post.

Or what if somebody spent hours writing you a post, and then you rejected it?

There are a lot of pitfalls to heading down this route, and perhaps this is not something to consider at this early stage.

I thought your niches was vegetarian. Never minds

No vegan. Vegetarians generally do not eat fish and meat but do eat animal products like cheese, yogurt and eggs. Vegans do not eat these either.

Yes, you can ask for guest postings, just be sure to review them first or you can stipulate guidelines. This post may help:

Thank you.

If incoming, I would do my due diligence. Are they acting on their behalf, or is it through an agency? If it sounds too good to be true, I walk away. Also, if the client's website isn't up to standard, they may drag your website downhill.

Outgoing, I would want to know who I am publishing with and is it going to help my business, provided they've accepted my guest post.

I have been researching hours and hours a day and am excited to be here starting out. A total newbie. Hello.

Hi Peter, welcome to the community! It's great to hear that you've been doing your research and are excited to get started. Is there anything specific you're looking to learn or accomplish here? Let me know if you have any questions or need any help getting started.

Hello and welcome to the Wealthy Affiliate :)

You may follow up the training step by step at your own pace; I tend to do a bit of learning and a bit of implementing. Ticking checklists bottom of lessons, tasks, and activities asked of you to complete to set up correctly and guide you through the process.

You may click the training tab top menu and head to where it says Online Entrepreneur Certification. A direct link Anytime you feel stuck, you may reach out to the live chat here or ask your questions in the core training.

Hello Peter! A warm welcome to the community! Sounds like you are familiarising yourself with the platform. Reach out to the community if you need any assistance or support.

Hi and welcome to WA, Peter.

As many others on the Wealthy Affiliate platform will tell you, your best bet is to follow the training. It leads you through one logical step after the other on your journey to create a profitable online business. But don't just watch the video and read the text. Implement each step as you go. That way, you'll "learn by doing" and find out early what is or isn't completely clear to you. Then simply ask specific questions to clear up anything you don't understand.

It's not a get-rich-quick scheme. You have to commit to building an online business for the long term.
