I never realised how much I would learn about my niche
My website is on veganism. I have been vegan for nearly 3 years now and am living proof of the benefits of it.
However, doing the research for blogs, I never realised how much I would learn about the niche, and unveil the truth about what is forced in front of us every day as "common knowledge" but is little more than clever advertising. AI has helped so much in the quest for knowledge. I mostly use chat GPT to find headings and refer me to sources. Though I must admit I do sometimes get a bit too passionate and let some of my blogs get long, to try and include all my new-found knowledge.
Yet many people still go on believing it as they were brought up on it - just like I was. Things like chicken and steak are necessary for muscle building!
Or the biggest one of all:- "Cow's milk is good for you and produces strong bones". This is the opposite to the truth! We now know that people and societies that consume the most animal based milk (but predominantly cow's milk) have a greater risk of broken bones than those that consume less milk.
Another one, is the value of kidneys, that we just consistently abuse by consuming a huge amount of, amongst other things, coffee, alcohol and animal protein that our bodies have to get rid of somehow, but we hamper the process by drinking far too little water! People think of their liver sometimes/rarely but give no thought to their kidneys until they are suffering problems.

What I need now, is to get the message out wider. I have linked in to pinterest, answered questions and put references in quora and redditt (though the latter predominantly seems to be a forum to moan and groan about posts), done facebook and tiktok and of course concentrated on Google SEO, amongst a number of other things, but still need to get the word out.
Of course I will keep going, it's relatively early days for me and my website yet. My next plan, whilst continuing my training here is to produce a series of youtube shorts and see how that goes. Starting to find my way around canva. Always forward...
