Just a beginner here with not too much to say yet!
I have, in theory, been a premium plus member for nearly a month now. However, for two and half weeks of that my wife was in hospital and then recovering from having a new hip operation. So I made the commitment to her for that period, and not to this. Though I did do some studying and reading when I got the time, I held true to my word despite the temptation to get on with this.
My Website is on veganism, something that I feel really passionate about. I am hoping to get affiliate marketing through the site and maybe in time to get involved in supplying physical items maybe print on demand as well as digital items including books.
Why I got onto that is a long story, but to keep it brief, I was injured at work with a devastating injury. This meant I was forced to retire and was pretty much bed-bound until I saw a documentary on Veganism, that helped some in my position. I thought I would give it a try. I didn't expect it to help but was desperate so thought I would give it a go. Fast forward a couple of years and I still cannot function without a lot of pain meds but my quality of life, if I am careful is vast improved. Due to retiring early I only have a low pension so researched some ways to help boost it and chose WA.
I have learnt so much here already and look forward to learning a lot more. Oh and of course earning some money down the line. I am willing to put a lot of time and effort into this venture.
What has been easy or hard. Well not too much of either really, I am very out of practice with computer and keyboards, not to mention writing reports. However, the guidance from the lessons from Kyle has been excellent. It did take me a while to figure out how to post pictures on published articles but with viewing the training video a couple of tomes I got there.
My only real frustration is I want more of this more quickly, but as it's all new I know it will take time.
I would love to think one day I could make it to LA but can't really see that happen with so many people having thousands of posts here, and being so far in advance of me. I am still reaching out towards my goals and will not give up. Though I am already scratching my head trying to decide on a niche for a second website!
Just a final note, everyone here has been so friendly and accommodating, even down to the joint owners, what a healthy atmosphere to be in, thank you all.

Hello Peter! Let me applaud your firm determination to move ahead.
Just to let you know, many of us are like you ~ very minimal experience in the computer. But as you said, Kyle’s training helped you. It took me a while to have a working website and takes me several going over on some lessons, being I missed to click one button prior to proceeding.
You mentioned about planning to make another website. Please don’t make that mistake. Focus on your first website for now. Post a lot of relevant articles related to your niche. Help make it grow. Then when you have a lot of articles (hopefully some of them indexed by Google,), you can apply for Google Adsense. As you generate traffic, it helps you monetize a little bit. Then when you get approved, apply to some affiliate marketing. Wait about a minimum of 6 months, or until your first website is monetizing before thinking of a second one. You want a relevant, good website, ( not a mediocre one - remember, you are competing with other strong ones )
Keep your focus! There are so many distractions, even in the Wealthy Affiliate community itself!
