Try this link: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/home

Thank you it worked !!!!

Can i ask you another question? I created a personal pinterest account, i tried to create a board and upload images from my website to create a pin but it wont allow me to.. i went thru the training but my pinterest page doesnt havd the same way to add a pin? Im so confused

Pinterest actually has a character limit on how much information you can type in the description box when you try to pin something. I learned this the hard way about a week ago. I was trying to pin something from one of my ecommerce platforms, and Pinterest kept throwing a generic error message. I first thought it was the social media plugin that was to blame, so I went directly to Pinterest and tried to do the same thing. That's when it threw the error about character length. "The max length is 500 characters". I believe that also includes spaces. Hope that helps! If not, please let me know.

Im trying to pin an image from my website.. but it just wont save .. you mentioned a plug in? Should i be having a plug in for pinterest

I think the confusion may lie with how "exactly" are you trying to pin directly from your website.

Are you using a Social Media Plugin on your website? There are a variety of different ones, and usually have buttons for visitors to share your content to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. Or are you using the Pinterest plugin, I think is what its called, for your broswer. It's not something you need to have right at this point, I'm just trying to determine how exactly you're trying to "pin" from your site, to beter determine where the problem is.

In order to avoid confusing you further lets try this:

1. Open Pinterest in a new browser tab
2. Click the Round Circle with a "+" in the center, located in the upper right of the screen.
3. Click "Create Pin"
4. Fill in the web link, add your photo and description. This can be the Meta description from your post, or anything else you want to list. The description is where there is a 500 charater limit.
5. Click Done
6. Select the board you want to save to and pin.

This should work, if for any reason anything is wrong with your content, Pinterest will give you an error.

Your a genius! It worked! Thank you so much

YAY! That's Great! Always happy to help!

It will automatically come up when you open a new window if you are using the Chrome Browser.

Yes im using chrome browser but it is not bringing me to that..

HI! I'm only on lesson 3 but I still have not figured out alot of my website. I have to much to learn. I wrote 2 content articles but only have 1 image. Having a hard time find

The beauty of the training is that you can go at your pace no need to rush make sure you understand every step of the way it is very procedural.Good Luck

Your training will require you to post articles on your blog. Just follow what the training teaches. You can always go back after the appropriate lesson and add things such as categories.

Derek

You should be working on your site according with the lessons in the training. The training takes you through all this you need to know so don't worry about it and keep moving forward. That's what the training here is for to help you build your website out. You only just started, you have much more to learn in the lessons.

Personally, I would keep going with the training. You will learn things the more you work at it. You will be writing several posts and will learn more and more as you go through the training. I have started taking my own photos, although it isn't always possible or easy. I have to start swapping out some of the photos I have on my site as I don't know if they were considered "free" or not.

Just don't stop learning and don't stop asking questions if you don't understand something.

Best wishes,
Karin

Thank you Karin! I just finished putting some photos on my 2 post! It felt so good to get one more thing accomplished on my website. I am going to continue the training as you and another suggested! Thank you wishing you the best on your website:)

You’ll do great!

Keep going with the training. You'll learn everything you need to know as you progress.

Thank you Marion! Your right I will just continue with the training. I think I overthink things before i get there LOL! Thank you so much for responding to my question so fast!

How can I use this to ask a few questions? Ive tried but it just wont submit my questions?

You just did ask questions with this question.

The Help Center on left menu has all the different ways to ask a question.

Thank you Grace! As always you run to my rescue!!

Happy to! ;)

Hi & welcome to WA! ... in addition to chief's suggestion, you can also go to your Profile, under Dashboard, click on the Help Center, go to ASK A QUESTION for answer from the community -- remember to include a question mark(?)... hope this helps you ... and of course, on occasion, a re-boot is needed to kick in a function.... cheerio... :)

Thank you it took a minute for me lol!!

it's all ok -- this platform is amazing technologically -- it's ok to take your time with it to get acquainted with all the features and functions of the icons ... enjoy the journey! ... it's fun here... :)
