A New All Time High!

Things are really going nuts on one of my blogs this holiday season, and I finally hit an all time high for a bunch of different things. In fact, these are not just all time highs for this blog, they are all time highs for any website I've ever created.

First, I got the most simultaneous visits on my blog at one time: 103 people! This is the first time I've broken the 100 mark.

Second, hit a new all time high for page views in a single day: 17,742! In fact, considering that there's such a stark upward trajectory, I might hit 20,000 pv per day before the end of the year.

Third, I've just made the most money every in a single day from ad revenue. Currently $747, though same as above, this might go higher in the next few weeks, and I'll update this post if it does.

How Did I Do It?

1. This website is 5 years old, so it did take a good amount of time to see these crazy results.

2. I worked consistently over that period of time. No quitting, and no breaks.

3. I picked a broad topic, and published a lot of articles

4. I reinvested profits into outsourcing writing and social media.

5. I followed the Wealthy Affiliate training and focused on finding specific, searchable keywords

Successes like these don't happen over night. Don't stress though, you don't have to grind for 5 years to see any results at all! You'll see little results along the way. Your first sale, your first $100, your first $100 day, then your first $1000 day and beyond.

One key is to work constently, but another part of the equation is to count your small successes. Don't beat yourself up for not going at the speed of a racecar every day. Small, consistent action works great for achieving big results over a period of time, and always look back to see how far you've come... then pat yourrself on the back!

Consistent keyword research and content pubilshing means you need to generate a lot of great ideas. Picking good keywords that were worth my time was a skill I developed while building this website, and I wanted to share those techniques with the community!
