Google Algorithm Gives Fake News on Notre Dame Fire - Universities Criticize Google Info
It's taken something as big as the Notre Dame cathedral burning tonight to expose the google algorithm's capacity for creating fake news - and also exposing other sinister facts behind the way Google / YouTube now operate.
As people tuned into youtube to watch live updates on the fire they were provided
"with false context about 9/11"
- according to theguardian.com which quotes computer scientists from the University of California and Harvard and Stanford speaking of google's capacity to:
- 'Always get it wrong' to some extent using algorithms to detect fake news
- And the need for more clarity on those algorithms used by any tech industry in charge of informing the public
- in other words Google is a law unto itself outside of any regulation feeding us information in an information driven world, owning what people 'know' and though it was easy to spot in the context of an iconic national monument like the Notre Dame it's not so easy to spot the google fake news when it's an issue like health or history or any other subject where there may be conflict of opinion.
OMG YouTube uses Google's own biased Wiki as the standard for fake news
Translated: "last year we launched links to ourselves as we have teams of doctors and nurses and 'journalists' editing wiki for non-conforming news according to what industry is selling and what we want you to buy'.
I've written on wiki wars and lies in here before showing 3 examples of how wiki wrote lies about natural protocols even when they are now backed by Harvard science. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/mozmary/blog/wiki-wars-is-wi...
And I showed you recently how google even admitted it had teams 'organizing' information in the health niche but also history and was getting around to all subjects but moving slower than it liked as it didn't want people to leave or else it'd be 'game over for google', google execs announced that as reported in the Sunday Telegraph online last month.
OMG Harvard researcher calls for a watchdog on Google Algorithm
Put another way, Google is totally out of control, Harvard knows google is choosing information and education now and it can be biased as hell. Tech watchdogs for some time have been calling for openness on how google algorithms are written and used to 'organize' information but here we have one of the top universities in the world supposed to be an authority in information and education now trying to reign google in a little - and accusing google of hiding...well it's about time Harvard, but better late than never!!
However they'd better get their skates on going after google because if the deployment of 5G has taught us anything, google has plans and soon not even Harvard or Yale or anyone will be able to tell google to stop hiding!
OMG Stanford researcher accuses google of dumbing down human intelligence
Well many voices out there saying this right now, however the majority of people are being sucked into their phones and digital assistants hearing only wiki as search results - and that is one of the drives behind 5G and 'always being connected'...drip fed trash not only having your brain signals jammed with increased 4G bandwidth and beamforming of 5G millimeter waves and colossal electrosmog from a 'smart world' internet of things, but losing access to independent thought and the right to have an alternative view or opinion or to even access non-industry non-biased information other than what is handed to us or read off a script.
I feel these universities are not calling out strongly enough for google to change, they are observing what google is doing but they are not stopping google, they and we need to stop it by all means available as those means are drying up fast in this information war.
*note: "latest example of the company's algorithms falling short"...
Though maybe there is a slightly positive note that the Stanford researcher was working on issues of internet and democracy - an area I thought didn't exist, that 'd' word vanishing from public speech almost as completely as the 'v' word now, the one ending in 'ine and sounds like it has an x in it...
