Hi. Last year I was new to this idea of marketing online, though I shop there plenty. And I am several generations older than you millennials, who keep increasing the frequency of my new learning curves, but I keep up, or try to. At the very least, I am generating new brain cells.
Well, it's been a while now--and I am happy to report, I see a tiny light at the end of the tunnel. Besides, the new brain cells, of which there are plenty, I have become more focused and know my niche/s. Now it is a matter of writing my face off.
Having recently retired from the food service industry, most recently, chef/kitchen manager of a retirement home, I am determined to find a way to monetize my lifestyle and do it from wherever I choose. You will know from the next paragraph; I have a major case of wanderlust.
Before the latest food service stint, I did long-haul trucking for around eight years in a team operation with my husband, Steve. I have seen all of the United States, save for VT and ME, and I lived in Hawaii, Alaska, Arizona, Ohio, Michigan, Oregon, and (currently) Washington State.
And before that, we were going around in circles, me and Steve, working at the Space Needle Restaurant in Seattle (He was a Captain, loosely translated-glorified busboy, and I was a "night-rag" waitress).
At this point, I am working through the training here, which is impressive, and I finally managed to build a website, a major milestone for me. However, it needs a fresh start, which is now on hold due to the fact I really want to promote WA first. So, I'm on to building another website, akawrite.com, which is under construction. I am looking forward to meeting many of you soon.
