Sideswiped and blindsided an explanation

Yesterday was not the best. I'm affected at times like others here by the shenanigans that go on in the community. I noticed a number of astute observations about my post yesterday. Yes. I was off my game.
I was wrong to do this I know. I need to bow to the will of the overseers and move to working on posts as many will suggest. I am well aware that the algorithm (which is constant oversight daily). You move along and then 2 or 3 are elevated over you , pushing you down. I feel I should have reached top 50 . Instread it was a repeat of the referenced post. 55 is the new 71
I put my all into the last two posts doing research in many areas. In yesterday's post If you look at the last two paragraphs I tied in the current remote migration movement out of WA to social media.
t's not just FB!
But it wasn't done as smoothly as I ususlly do. I rarely get rattled, but yesterday was an exception. I should have abandoned posting some time ago. But it can become an addictive rattle except when the open room elevator hits the new imposed ceiling. "ouch" Sorry Kyle but some things don't sit too well here every so often. So picking up the pieces 1. post more occasionally 2. accept the new "rpreferred" level and 3. divert. Now let me go chase my FB friends. the serious stuff will come later.

Hi Mike, looks like I came late to the party,again. It did mean I had to read and then read again and then go to your last post and read and then read again on that one, plus the comments, oh my the comments.
So in true 'sit on the fence fashion' I shall think twice before saying nothing.

You're right. When I rarely post like this I usually get a very low comment to like ratio. People understandably feel uncomfortable getting involved. At this point 17/31, I have over half Not bad!

I have found that the best thing is to just not worry about rank. Are You Chasing the Dragon? In the grand scheme of things, it is essentially meaningless. It is merely a reflection of how much time and input you have on WA, not on your business. Just help when and where you can, and then let the chips fall where they may. Whether your rank is 22 or 2,022, you're still you :-)
Some blog posts are too long. Some blog posts are too short. Your blog posts are just right.
I have stopped reading the long posts unless the topic interests me. I am trying to manage my time better being a SAC participant.

So I'm going to leave you with this, I never worried about my rank I never worry about If Everyone likes my blogs or my posts. I write my blog and I post to help those that it may help and if it's intriguing to one person I'm a happy camper. I will be happy when you slow down a bit, could not always keep up with the flood of posts you normally produce.
Then, if you allow me, sometimes there were too many pearls for the .....
Do come and chase me on FB. I started only a few days ago. I find the setup quite horrible, so much going on all at the same time. My laptop is smallish therefor my screen is too, sometimes it looks like a video game, I do not play video games.
Compare the layout of WA with FB, what a difference.

I stopped worrying about my ranking as I was not getting enough time to do SAC and work on research and post.
So I went from about 2000 to almost 7000.
Once I get caught up if ever I will get into it again.

We all have those days when we can't do or say anything that we find suitable to the occasion. It's like with comments on posts -- sometimes the words just come to me and sometimes I just can't think what to say to people.

Sorry but I'm confused. If I said something that was offensive to you please forgive me. You are a excellent writer; It's according to what time of the evening that I get around to reading your post and how I feel physically and mentally. Usually what you write for some reason is over my head. But I try to not be mean spirited to anyone. I don't know if anyone else is like me but sometimes by the time I get finished with a post I don't even remember what it's about and all of the article, I have also had a stroke on both sides of my brain so that's absolutely normal for me. My prayer for you is that this small hiccup will not deter you from your heart's desire of writing.
