Here's the backstory'I left the hallowed halls of WA ambassador in 2017! After sojourning for a year. I tested the new algorithm in 2018 My progress put me at the top 50. I got stuck at rank 39 as a high. I enjoyed that for a while.
This year, 2019, I got involved in a separate copy writing project and dropped WA blogging again. I''ve taken a more steady approach at a measured pace. I was wondering when I'd hit the new ceiling. Well' I've hit it.
I'm in the top 100. While enjoying posting, I notice I'm treading water at rank 71 consistently regardless of effort for the past 7-10 days. I've seen others who have been traditionally in the top 50 go to the top 100.
Now that I've put the "in my face metronome" to resolved rest, my course will be to disassociate the ranking noise completely. I am happy to enjoy posting in the top 100 and hope the ceiling won't drop any lower.(100+) WA is growing and being constantly reshuffled. That 's a good thing. It's on each of us to find our place in it.

Numbers ranking is okay but more important to help others where possible and focus on our own sites.
Hi - part of the Super Affiliate Challenge is to spend more time in chat and help other members. I suspect this has led to a lot more activity within the community which is going to shake things up in terms of rank.
You're absolutely right. The activity criteria is practically off the chart. K&C are wildcatting everything so much, It'll be a challenge to stay in the top 200.
You always make interesting observations Mike. Ones most of us would never even think of.

I like this very much Mike, I have so much other stuff making noises, I dig what you are saying. At what ever time it is in your life you can only do what you can do. At some point it's for your well being to be happy with it, and you are right that WA is growing because of great folk like you, Mike.

I learned early on to pay little or no attention to the rankings. My primary focus is my website. However, I offer my limited knowledge whenever the situation arises. I read the blogs that come in my mailbox, I offer feedback and comments whenever and wherever possible, and I try to share relevant information in my blogs. This community has been instrumental in my progress and I am privileged to contribute anything I can. I am okay with wherever that places me in the rankings.
