Freefall continued
I as many of you know have an abiding interest on earth's geography and the consistency of our planet. One of the things that is of interest is a place like the Mariana's Trench!
At this location in the southwest Pacific near the Marianas Islands this depression resides at 36,070. It is pitch black and the pressure is at several tons per square inch. the Deep Sea Challenger which took 7 years to build was piloted by Mr. James Cameron reached this iconic spot in March 2012 (just over 5 years ago).

Interesting discoveries surprised everybody. There is life there! There is a dragon fish which produces light. So necessary in that environment for searching prey. There is also a hatchet fish which has huge oversize eyes to search out edibles in the murky gloom. No place can be written off as without potential!

I have meandered a number of times, I admit, but this morning I formulated a personal manifesto out of the WA morass:
- complete divorcement of ranking aspiration going forward
- total acceptance of an item that can be manipulated at any time any place at a whim as they own it
- posting only:
- referential to products created such as site development, eBooks and training
- Absolute self discipline to ignore the downward sliding figures (I hope they go to 1,000,000)
I'm taking a bit of a break after this post and wish you all a happy Halloween and a great Nanowrimo -National Novel Writing Month- (November) but that's a another story!

Get this Debbie. I lost a cap which came off my front left incisor yesterday. It cost me $25 to have that piece of Kandy Korn recemented!. The receptionists were all dressed up in Halloween costumes but I won the talent show!!

There is no point worrying about it since as you say it is out of your control. It really doesn't matter too much anyway. I suspect I will fall out of the top 25 soon too. Once that happens I will probably not get back in either.
I love the mysteries of the deep ocean. That is why I started my graduate program 10 years ago (and finally finished the course work last winter) in Ocean and Coastal Studies. It is oceanography, marine biology, marine geology and coastal management all combined. Really cool stuff that makes you feel like an explorer on the frontier!
Can you imagine if Seward had pushed on Jessica. The US might end up owning half of Siberia!
