Intuition can make your life smoother and more fun, but it can also be a critical skill of the future. Everywhere I go...I see people whose physical and emotional lives are in chaos. The normal beliefs and forms that people are used to identifying with are shifting like sands in the desert. In addition.....information is being thrown at us at such a frenzied rate that even with our computers and cell phones (or perhaps...because of them) we are increasingly overwhelmed and paralyzed.

There are more opinions and demands for attention than ever before. We all need direct access to answers that are both authentic and appropriate to our lives. Only intuition can provide calm in the face of turmoil.

The most empowering and practical "tool" we have is already within us. With logic and intuition working hand in hand, we can clearly see what is needed, and do exactly what is required....rising to the occasion with inspiration and trust.

With intuition...as you will see...miracles are not only possible...they are probable.

Eventually, you will discover what I have discovered....intuition is not about psychic ability.....it is about attaining clear perception. We all have great intuition. Most of the time, we just need to apply it.

Wonderful blog Melanie! When people are just going through the motions, they are caught up in "the busy of now." Society as a whole seems to be there! Some of us have come to understand the Universe and the human body, realizing there is a deep connection between the two. Intuition plays a big part of that! I had the pleasure of an email exchange with astrophysicist, Neil DeGrasse Tyson some years back. He explained to me about the Universe and the human condition and it stuck with me forever! I will not share it here because it may be too far thinking for more traditional people. Everyone has their comfort zone and there is nothing wrong with that. I've always been and always will be a Contrarian thinker. Thank you so much for your post today my friend!

Hi Sharon....Thanks for writing! I am familiar with Neil deGrasse Tyson. He is wonderful and I have read two of his books. He is also
on a very popular TV show...I believe it is on Discovery or the Science Channel. Yes, we are all connected. *smile* Perhaps we will have a chat one day. I do believe that some of his ideas are a little far reaching for many traditional thinkers. Have a great evening! :)

Yes we all have intuition and its just a question of being able to hear it. That's where spending quiet time most days if possible helps. When you are in a place of well-being then you know that your intuition is accurate. Great subject Melanie!

Hi Janice...You are right. Sometimes...we just have to be still to hear our inner voice. Thank you for writing! Take Care. :)

I love this blog, it's great to see other people encouraging people to use intuition. It really is where answers come from and can be infinitely useful in all aspects of life.

The reason so many people struggle in life is because they are following what other people tell them do do, or what society expects of them instead of following their intuition and passion. When you follow your intuition things go much smoother because we aren't trying to "force" things, we are in the flow!

Thanks!!!

Great perception you have Sir.

Well said Robert. I see that you are a very intuitive man!

You are so right, Melanie.
Intuition - aka presence, mindfulness.
To be at peace when all around us is chaos.
I'm off to yoga.
Pam

Good girl....off to yoga....I love it. I do yoga every night and some stretching in the AM (Salute to the Sun) Isn't it great? Thanks for the note Pam. Have a great evening.

It's spooky but it is true, intuition is a sense that we relied on when lived with giant bears and sabre toothed tigers, but as centuries past we used it less and less, everything is connected in the universe in an invisible matrix, when we get intuition it is being channeled through this matrix.

Very interesting perspective Derek. Many people do tend to operate on auto pilot....it's scary. *smile*

Really enjoyed your post it is well written and I do agree with your thou thanks for sharingghts on intuition,

Thank you Katie.....I appreciate that you took the time to write. :)

Call it intuition or call it Uncle Morris (if you're Andy) but I agree that everyone has it. Some people need some help with channeling into it, but it's there. Good thoughts for today!

*LOL* Thanks Marcel. Yes....I did thank Uncle Morris for his contribution. Isn't he funny? I appreciate your comment. Hope that you have a wonderful evening. :)

Darn, rumbled- crikey, I didn't know the cracks showed that clearly- seriously, good stuff here. I have an alternative persona or angel, that I ask- let's call it "uncle Morris" If uncle Morris says that he wouldn't trust them/it I don't.
Fictional but helpful. Whatever it takes to create the brainology to get a different perspective is good.

Hi Andy....Thanks for the reply and great thoughts. Please send Uncle Morris my love. (He's a smart man!) *ha ha* Take Care...Melanie

I agree, our unconscious mind is faster than our conscious decision-making process! When the second one kiks in, we tend to lose spontaneity and become doubtful and unsure.

For sure, Donatella....when we second guess ourselves...that is when we are the most confused. Excellent point. :)

Great blog! All the distractions around us, the fast paced lifestyle and of course all of our tech tools, are making us completely disconnected from that little voice inside.
I'm an animal lover and my cats and dog remind me daily about instinct. They do not have anything else to rely on, they have remained connected to what they feel and make decisions from that. I try my best to reconnect when I feel disoriented.

Funny you should mention that, Genevieve. I also take lots of cues from my animals. I have two dogs, a cat, and two very intuitive birds. They can teach us a lesson any day! Very well said...and excellent point!
