While viewing my STATS PAGE, I notice I have 99 Content Clicks, 7 Raw Clicks, & 6 Unique Clicks. How can I convert these into SALES? I have no way of knowing who these pe

RICH got your answer

Raw Clicks are the total number of clicks.

Unique Clicks are counted when a visitor first clicks a link. If this same user clicked on your link 10x, it would count as 10 raw clicks but only count as 1 unique click.

Content Clicks are counted when someone finds one of your Blog Posts or Questions at Wealthy Affiliate in the search engines and clicks through to view that content. If this user were to sign-up, you would get credit for the referral.

However, you cannot follow these visitors up because they haven't provided an email address at this stage, they are just viewing content. If they sign up, they will become your referral and you will be able to send automated messages direct to their profile page https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/share/messages

You can check in Google search console and Analytics which page/post is getting more clicks, impressions and traffic.
Accordingly you can put the affiliate links, call to action, etc.

I believe content clicks are clicks through WA like on any of your posts or questions, and unique clicks and raw clicks are clicks on your affiliate link for WA

Market to those raw clicks and tailor to their deepest needs to convert!

Thank you but how do I identify them so I can follow up?

you are not going to be able to 'identify' them or follow up.

That is why it is CRITICAL that your content is compelling and informational so they will either comment, (make sure that function is enabled) contact you through your about me or contact page, or click on an affiliate link.

Your site looks like a very staid corporate page and not very interactive. Maybe they do not have any access to comment...?

Just my 2 cents.

Thank you Mickey
I've been using an email campaign, not my Affilitate Bootcamp website. My website is still being built. I think my email is very good, but no way to identify those that visit the affiliate site provided by WA.

Email IS the way to build the relationship you need in order to convert them to sales.

There must be something wrong with the emails you are sending out.

When you're getting clicks but not enough conversions, that's an opportunity for you to tweak your content so it converts better. Try a new intro, try to engage the customer better. Look at your content through the eyes of someone seeing it for the first time and looking for answers. Can they find their answer quickly? Is your content engaging? This is the way you end up getting better with more conversions :)

To answer your question, you can't get the name of those who didn't convert for you. But out of curiosity, how are you emailing them but don't know their name?

I have an email name/email/tel.no. & but I don't know who registers my content clicks.
Thanks for your input. Mark

How are you getting that info from just clicks on your website?

The Content Clicks are recorded for me to see at "My Stats" at the Affiliate site. I'd like to know who those folks so I can send a follow up email. Thanks, Mark

Ahh, what I wasn't following was how you were getting someone's email name, email, and telephone number just by them clicking on your content, but I see now that you're emailing a group of people, getting clicks, but you're not sure who the people are out of that group who are the ones clicking.

Sorry for misunderstanding.

Don't worry about trying to figure out who clicked and moved on. Following up with them isn't the key. Tweaking your content is. Tweak the content, make it more engaging, and you'll have more conversions. Don't chase those who passed on the opportunity. Instead, make the opportunity better so less people pass it up :)

Makes perfect sense. Much appreciated, Mark

Anyone have any idea how I can do a follow-up to those that visited the website?

If you mean create a list of contacts, you will need to have a sign-up form to collect emails. Then you can send a newsletter or updates to your contacts. I use the Sumo Me plug-in, and it has a lot of free features...one is an email list opt-in.

Thank you, I appreciate your input. When I look at my STATS of the number of clicks, I was hoping for a way to identify those that visited the Affiliate website so I can send them a follow-up email.

I didn't know there were different types. Please let us know what you find out. Thank you

Thank you for asking, I learned another thing today.

Per Kyle Raw click = could be the same visitor again and again. Example, a single user could click on your affiliate link 10 times and it would tabulate as 10 raw clicks.

Unique click = only counts unique visitors as a tally. If that same user clicked on your affiliate link 10 times, they would only count as a 1 unique visitor, not 10.

... and Content?

Thank you very much Michael. Any idea on the Content Click?

I posted a separate blurb that this may be a click on an internal embedded link in content. It seems to have dropped off the thread!
I could not find a formal definition!

Much appreciated Michael

Great questions, can't wait to see the answers...

Hi Patsy, I'm waiting for the replies as well. Hope all is well with your, Mark.

Thanks Mark, things are going well :)

Is there a way we can know who visited our Affiliate Marketing Site? I see the number of clicks, but can they be identified by me? I use the link provided by WA.

To my knowledge it doesn't go beyond raw numbers. I haven't heard of personal identification here!

Email is what I should have said referring to ID.

one of my health affiliate centers gives me everything about the person, their IP address, country, flag, how long they were on, how often, and how they may have used the link...and that's just the traffic log!

Thank you MOZ, but does WA provide us with that information?

No they don't. You would have to use a ttacking program like Tracking202 to be able to capture that information.

You also want to be careful how much you "id" a person. If you are trying to pinpoint exactly who someone is you are likely running afoul of several terms of use from Google Analytics and your affiliate programs.

Thank you but I really only would like to know their email.
