How To Create Semi-Transparent Pictures Using OpenOffice Draw
If you want to have a background image on your website without having the site look too busy then make your image semi-transparent.
OpenOffice.org is a free suite of office programs which some people think is better than Microsoft Office. I'm inclined to agree for this purpose. I just opened a photograph in Draw and saw on the right hand side of the screen where it's just sooo simple to change the transparency. I adjusted the transparency level to 50% and I was wowed by the result.
Just download OpenOffice.org (open source so it's free) and use Draw to change the transparency. Awesome!
