Here is another useful free to use program online to test email addresses
You can enter an e-mail address to check it out if it exists and see if it's a working email address or not.
A series of checks will be performed on the e-mail address but no actual e-mail is sent.
What to do?
Just enter the e-mail address and click on "Check address" and the results will apear within seconds.
Below you see the results of the different checks that I performed with my own webmail.
I "accidentaly" skipped the T in ART and broke the email address.

I have added that to my list of very useful tools.
But couldn't you have told me last week when I needed to actually use a tool like this? Lol!
That sounds interesting, Loes. Does the email tester just check whether it's a valid email format or also whether there is an actual person behind it? Just wondering whether this is something that could also be used at Ebay, for example, to detect false bidders.
