The Radio Test For Your Domain Name
I did another post about how to find the perfect domain name and it one of the comments someone mentioned the Radio Test.
I replied but I thought it would be a good idea to explain what the radio test is in a post so everyone knows what it is and how you can apply it to your next domain name purchase.
Here's the link to that other post if you want to read it:

So What's The Radio Test?
Well obviously when you're listening to the radio you only hear what's going on you can't see anything (duh)
So the radio test is when you're talking on air if you have to spell something it can cause a problem.
I was an on air personality for many years and anytime I had to spell something it did not have as much success as when I did not have too.
Lot's of people got the spelling wrong no matter how many times they heard it being spelled.
So Here's The Radio Test
This is the same example I used in my other posts reply.
If I said this domain name over the radio:
Easy Work At Home - but the domain name is spelled ezworkathome
If you heard this on the radio without it being spelled how would you spell it?
More than likely you would spell it easyworkathome not ezworkathome
That's the radio text.
Bottom line you don't want have to spell your domain name every time you tell someone your domain name.
Hope you found this helpful.

excellent tip. I came across that when I still had siterubix. It felt awkward giving someone my URL verbally lol. Made me prioritize buying my domain. :)
Excellent advice thank you Leo.
I have been trying to get that point across.
Now I will direct them here.
Hi Leo, I hope my new domain name k9info4u2day passes the test. It's a site about cats. Kidding, thanks for the all the info.
