Introducing AI Authors (BETA): The Future of Content Has Arrived!
I've got exciting news for the Wealthy Affiliate community! The launch we've all been waiting for is here at last, the "AI Author BETA" has officially gone live, and I can't wait to share what this means for the community and for the "new future" of building businesses online.
If you're part of the Premium Plus+ tier, you now have the opportunity to try out this platform, and offer feedback and suggestions to help shape its future. We have granted you 15,000 Word credits to your account, and you will be getting topped up with 15,000 Word credits every month on your join date.
Your input on what you love and what might need a tweak or two is going to help us evolve this platform, combined with the myriad of ideas.
This release has been a year in the making, with a our core focus on refining authorship and personalization of content across various writing styles.
As a writer myself and someone who has been using AI extensively for the last 12 months, I know AI can sometimes miss the mark. That's why we've poured countless hours into ironing out the issues that typically arise with AI-driven content platforms.
What's crucial is our principle of AI-assisted creation. The goal has always been to amplify your capabilities, not replace them, and that is going to be the case as we move forward with the AI Author platform. Our goal being to amplify your productivity and efficiency in your business, by a multiple of 5-10x by the end of 2024 and I feel we are already very close to this with the Article Designer, Hubs, and Author releases.
Let's have a closer look at this launch!
Our First Step: Overcoming the Imperfections of AI.
Confronting the shortfalls of AI in content generation has been a front-and-center challenge. You know the drill - you've seen how AI platforms can sometimes completely miss the mark, leaving you with content that is redundant, and full of "delves", "dives deeper", "embarks" amongst many other tell-tale phrases that AI is notorious for using.
Recognizing these roadblocks to content quality, we set out to create innovative "author side" training, that will build authors that create much higher quality, human-like content. It's about taking AI engines power, and building off of that.
Where standard AI fumbles, the AI Author platform at Wealthy Affiliate plays is going to really excel. It's not just about autonomous content creation; it's about being a practical platform that you can leverage to build out high quality, helpful and insightful content with more efficiency than ever.
You are going to be able to move through your content schedule at speeds you once thought impossible, without any trade off in quality. In fact, because you and now focus on editing and polishing your content (versus all the other aspects of content creation), your content is going to be higher quality than ever.
A 5-10x increase in production speed? It's no longer a far fetched idea - it's going to become the new standard here.
Streamlining Your Content Creation with Hubs + Article Designer + AI Authors.
Say GOODBYE to the days when creating content from scratch felt like running a marathon. With the integration of Hubs + Article Designer + AI Authors at Wealthy Affiliate, the once arduous task of developing a blog post for your website is now a completely streamlined (and for the most part, automated) task.
Here's how our game-changing process unfolds:
STEP 1: Getting Your Content Idea (INSTANT). Your content ideas, once difficult to research and find, are now laid out for you within the Hubs platform. You are handed 100's of low competition, high opportunity content ideas within hubs, along with the ability to research and come up with your own ideas.
STEP 2: Designing Your Content (1 MINUTE). The Article Designer allows you to paint the picture of your article, and you can also ensure all of your ideas are incorporated into the outline as well. The set-up for your article is incredibly efficient.
STEP 3: Creating Your Outline (1 MINUTE). Your outline is generated in less than a minute, drawing from the largest subset of content and ideas known to mankind. Here is where the skeleton of your content is near instantly carved out for you, and you can edit and approve the outline to then "write" out your content.
STEP 4: Choose Your Author & Write Content (3-15 MINUTES). With the AI Author platform, you are initially going to have a choice between two content creators. Either a Professional Copywriter or a Conversational Blogger. These authors will breathe life into your content outline. The AI author you select will tailor your article, infusing it with a flair that resonates with your intended audience.
After you choose your Author, and ask it to write... minutes later, your article is going to be ready.
What previously took you of hours, or even a full day, can now be completed in mere 5-17 MINUTES. This article is SEO ready, well articulated, well researched, and overall very high quality content.
But at this point it isn't quite done.
That is where YOU come into play, as the "boss" to AI. You are the content creator, our platforms just did all the dirty work for you at lightening speed, now your focus comes down to polishing and editing the content, adding some imagery, and making sure it full aligns with the messaging.
Remember, we are now working within an "AI Assisted" environment, not created. AI isn't perfect, and you now have reclaimed SO MUCH time back into your life and your business, that you can focus on creating the best content out there.
This leap in efficiency does not just recapture time; it amplifies your creative potential. Remember that.
Understanding the Authors: Professional Copywriter vs. Conversational Blogger.
When you go through the AI-Author process, you are going to face an exciting decision: picking an AI co-author that best fits your style. You have two distinct personalities to choose from - Professional Copywriter and Conversational Blogger.
You can see the description of the authors right within the platform, and choose accordingly the style of content that you want on your website. Both work great, and a lot of time and energy went into creating these "initial" authors, but what you may want to do is even test both.
We have provide some real-life example content generated with these authors if you want to check that out, you can find it under "See Sample Articles".
This will pop-up some sample content, that you can read and review. The content that you create will be very similar in STYLE. See an example of the "Conversational Blogger" below.
Whichever author you lean towards, know they are equipped with deep expertise in your niche. This has been built into this platform. They will bring the background knowledge and research skills necessary to tackle even the most obscure topics. Your content won't just sound good; it will be informative and highly valuable to your readers.
The authors also excel in SEO (Search Engine Optimization). They are programmed to understand and apply the best SEO practices, keeping in mind Google's Helpful Content guidelines and E-E-A-T standards. This means your content isn't just friendly to the reader; it's also primed to perform well in search engines.
Your expertise, and SEO capabilities have been amplified with the AI Author platform at Wealthy Affiliate.
AI Author Beta's Future: Your Feedback Matters.
The roadmap for AI Author BETA is just starting. As we navigate the initial BETA phase, lasting approximately 2-3 months, the platform will be thoroughly tested with the Premium Plus+ base here at Wealthy Affiliate. The aim is to gather as much input from YOU, our community, to refine the experience. T
his feedback loop is critical; and we are hoping it will inspire a great deal of fine-tuning, uncover bugs, and stimulate innovative ideas for fresh new features that we can rapidly integrate into this platform.
Consider this BETA release a full "collab" between us and you. Carson and I recognize the platform's current form as iteration one, where focus on the quality of content was our initial focus. Our cautious approach even included scaling back certain features to keep things simple.
So as you use this new platform, we call on YOU for feedback. Have you encountered a glitch? Do you have an awesome idea for a new feature or improvement? Or is there a tweak you believe could really improve the usability?
Leave any comments you have in THIS thread here, in the comments below. Each suggestion will help us make decisions on improvements, leading to a more polished upcoming version.
There is limitless potential that the AI Author platform holds, and we can't wait to take our myriad of ideas combined with yours, to take this entire new platform (and frankly world) we are operating in, by storm.
Don't let your ideas go unheard. Large or small, they can all spark significant advancements. Leave them below!

I asked Bard to give an opinion on a text written by the AI Professional Copywriter.
And guess what?
Bard told me it's dry...and that I should consider adding metaphors or humour while keeping it informative.
I think that's a good suggestion.
But when I asked for the improved version, Bard added that flowery and dreamy language 😁
Sounds like they cannot make up their mind; that's why there's no replacement for the human touch. What do you think? Does it punch really well? Is it compelling enough? Does it answer your audience's queries?
Here's my take on the Professional Author's style of writing;
1. The AI dude writes in the first person; I constantly change this style to "you" focused on making my articles customer-centric and more engaging.
Where possible, I link to the source to back up my claims.
2. Some sentence structures begin to sound repetitive as you read more articles written by this AI guy.
For instance;
"It's not just about filling your to-do list; it's about having a pipeline of content ideas..."
3. As for making the articles more compelling, I find that once you get the intro paragraphs right, his articles become more enjoyable.
The Author's writing style is punchy (though some sentences need a few tweaks), informative, direct, and answers the audience's queries....I've learned a lot from these AI-generated articles.
What I would do to improve the writing:
1. Remove REDUNDANT WORDS, e.g. "your own."
2. Add POWER WORDS strategically
3. Add EMOTIONAL WORDS strategically
4. Simplify the language
5. Add SENSORY WORDS, e.g. "scratchy", to describe a rough surface while evoking that sense of touch feeling.
That's my take for now, Abie :)
Bard creates very low quality content, which is why we don't use it. ChatGPT creates flowery language out of the box, and that is why our AI Author models are heavily trained, and very sophisticated to get the quality output that you get with the writing platforms here. :)
That's right. And thumbs up for the solid outlines and the extensive research in our AI-generated articles :)
Thanks so much; I greatly appreciate your feedback. You can direct your ChatGPT if you want your text in the first person or not; however unsure if that can be accomplished in the AI Authorship. Even if not, you can always ask ChatGPT to change it without having to edit it.
I am aware we still have to edit the content, but besides that, I think it writes SEO-optimized text and is fairly great.
I still have to find my way around it. Your reply comment is certainly profound.
This all sounds very good Kyle. I agree with you about chatgpt not knowing certain things in detail and have got things wrong in the past. Because I am an expert in my knowledge for dressmaking i can pick up where they go wrong or miss things out. Anyhow it's always good to go through and edit it yourself so it doesn't sound repetitive. Also what about Jaaxy? do we still use this for rich content? or is this included in the new AI author platform?
Yeah, it's not perfect. That is why this is an "AI Assisted" world, where people will always be required in the process.
This is good news for all of us, but with the AI Author platform you will save hours of work per article, and you will be able to incorporate any ideas that you want into your content using the "optional" content section.
Jaaxy can be used to decide on your initial target keyword, but a lot of that heavy lifting is done for you through the research and content ideas that Hubs provides for you. ;)
Thanks Kyle, yes that sounds good. I am determined to continue with all my posts (fixing those from earlier months), and ultimately have a good chance being accepted into these marketing programs.
My only objection to this new AI Author is the credits. I am only getting less than 15 articles a month. I must pay $25.00 more to get 5k for maybe 2-3 posts; more than 10k, that's $200; I don't have that kind of money. My content is over 6 to 8 sections. Less than 15 posts a month seems significantly limiting for me. Also the credits are not affordable for me. It's pretty disappointing. As far as the quality goes, the paragraphs are way too long and too wordy. I had to use Grammarly AI and Hemingway Editor to shorten those sentences for better readability. There were no bullet points, FAQs, or key takeaways that are seen with other AI one-click writer programs. I had to do all the editing work manually. That is more time-consuming than the AI writer itself. The AI credits should be bumped up more for us Plus users since we paid a lot per year for the perks! I hope that will be the case after the Beta testing.
Agreed. For me until now, the AI writer only saves me time on my bird articles. (and even so, I need to check the mistakes that AI makes on the description of birds, like even their collors) The others for my miniatures site still have me writing for 2 days, because AI doesn't know my niche as well as I do. Kind of dissapointed.
15 more articles than you had before, paying the same price that you have always paid for your membership. :) So you are getting way more than you used to get, leveraging our latest technology (which comes with a lot of expense). We have made our service much better for you, without raising your costs, which is how we do business.
For power writers that want a lot more content, we are likely going to have a plan in the coming months that is available for that.
But you get an article every second day, which is a healthy content flow and beyond that you could create the content yourself leveraging the outlines, pay for more content if you wanted, or you could create your content manually. Up to you, you are in the driver's seat. :)
AI is a tool, remember that. It isn't there to replace you, rather speed things up drastically through the process. You can feed it any information that you want to ensure are included within the article, and it will take care of that work for you (us the "optional" content field).
One strategy is taking a summary of the top 3 articles in Google that you want to "oust" from the rankings, incorporate those ideas into the optional content field, and then it will produce an outline and article that includes all of that content.
This can save you HOURS per article. :)
This is great, Kyle. I just tested the authors and settled for the Professional Copywriter. A post was created within just a few minutes and although it requires some editing, there is no way I could have produced any piece of content in a similar time-frame or anywhere near it.
I also checked the item for plagarism and it showed 2 per-cent which is simple to deal with.
Yeah, all the content is going to be unique, and it is going to be well written, and be very human like. As we move in the AI assisted direction, we always recommend that you edit, polish, and refine your content (as well as beautify with imagery/etc) before you publish. :)
I've been using chatgpt and Bard for the past several weeks. Today, for the first time, I tried having an AI author here at WA write an article for me. The title of the article, "How To Master English Grammar: The Basics For beginners". An article was promptly written in 173 words.
Seriously?
I used Bard and the article was more than 3600 words.
Hmm.
It's safe to say, I was underwhelmed by the AI author from WA.
Maybe it's just me and perhaps I did something wrong.
Bob
173 words? That has to be some sort of bug if that is all the content you go. We will investigate, the content length is typically dictated by the author. How many sections did you request?
Hi Bob,
It seems you may have chosen just 1 section for the article. If you are aiming for 3000+ words then you will want to create an article outline that has 12-13 sections. You can add as many sections as you like in your outline.
Give that a try!
It generated an outline of several sections. I don't remember the exact number, I didn't count, but I'll say it was 9 or 10. I went to the next step, which asked who I wanted to be the author. I chose the conversational one. I then went to the next step and waited for the article. A short while later, I got my 173 word article. The outline was no longer there. I don't know what happened or why. Perhaps it's on me. I can't say.

All good Robert, give it another test and let us know what you think! We're working on some updates to allow slightly longer articles, we kept it at 9 sections for the beta, but we can allow for many more than that. A feature we will update as we allow folks to use the platform and we monitor how it's all working.
So many folks are using the platform now, it's a game changer in the world of digital publishing and building a business here at WA. TONS more updates coming - stay tuned and thanks for letting us know that you chose 1 section :)
As noted above, I goofed. I tried again and it came out much more like what I wanted. What I really like about it, compared to chatgpt and Bard is the likeness to my "voice" and writing style using the conversational author.
Good stuff.
Bob
Excellent, glad you liked the content....that was the first focus with this platform and one we wanted to nail. Everything else is pretty straightforward and you are going to see a lot of advancements with this platform as time goes on. ;)

I have tried the conversational speech writer for one of my miniatures articles and was really disappointed.
Even after thoroughly giving it my own points beforehand and spending a maximum of credits for the much-needed sections in my article, it still spitted out nonsense and I had to spend 2 days in still writing it myself completely. The only good thing was that it kind of gave a good outline, but you can get that with the outline creator.
I dont think this is suitable for certain niches. Also when giving comments on the platform, I can definitely tell that AI was used, so again for things like hobbys and such, not so great.
AI can not write this for me at all =>

Did it help? sure. But most of these paragraphs had to be redone and I have actually spend as much time as before. It was a waist of credits that I could have probably used on my bird articles for my other site. Because you can't have it correct things either or add things that you forgot beforehand.
Lizzy
For things that are more specific and where you want specific things to be included in the output, you will want to make use of the optional "content summary" side of things. That is what it is there for, so I recommend that you use that.
For some of them more specific topics, it may not have a lot to say and there may be some redundancy there, that is just the nature of AI. This is an "AI Assisted" world, and it will produce great, human style content, but you can and should know that you assisting it will lead to even a better output.
I am going to roll out some training on the optional content side of things, because there are some really cool things that you can do (and should be doing) with more granular topics.
