Yesterday i gave an honest constructive comment on another site regarding a higher version of chatgpt, and thought this site could help me gain more traffic/customers but it was
Honest answers are welcomed but some site links are viewed as self promotion regardless of intent to protect us all from being bombarded by a ton of SPAM. I try to help where possible and sometimes it is just not in my wheelhouse but hopefully you find someone with the answers you desire.
Hi Helen - When leaving comments on other folks websites via the SiteComment platform here in WA, all comments are submitted with a status of "pending review". All website owners must review your comments and publish them. Sometimes your fellow members simply haven't had a chance to review the comments yet. So, don't let that discourage you. Every comment must be approved by the website owner before you'll see them show up on the site.
Hope this puts your mind at ease.
Hi Carson, nice to hear from you. I just got excited and passionate about what he was saying and him being so frank about his life etc etc. That is why I wanted to know if his formula would work for me? I am getting to the stage where (After 2 years) that things are not moving no matter how hard I try and I cannot do this 24/7, as I do have another life outside WA.
My husband is very upset that money seems to be going out monthly with nothing coming in. The only 2 people who (literally helped me) were Phil - who is a fellow aussie and left WA now. Also Cherie from UK who went to great length to help me put widget ads on my website when no one else wanted to do anything to help me.
I guess I was just venting, and thinking what am I doing wrong and why can't I get sales from my website? Every time I boost posts on facebook - all I get is stupid questions from people basically asking if I have a website or do i purchase vintage clothing? One person even asked me if I can send images from my website - seriously ?? People are dead lazy and don't want to look or read!
I've been offered to do a webinar on social media which goes for 3 days but I can't commit at this point as I have other things happening in 2 weeks time.
However I will take up their offer and do it another time as I feel I need to find how to advertise to the right people without the huge pricetag.

Some people can't take constructive feedback even if it is beneficial. Don't worry about the no's move on to other sites. That is how I do it.

To create categories, click on post when you log into your website from the back end. You will get a list of options. Select the categories option. It should be easy to figure what to do next from there.
Hi Tati, I changed the categories to my website name ( is this what you do?) but I don't think it did anything to the posts listed?
After changing the category, you should go to your post and assign it to that category. You can have several categories that group your post according to the topics they address. For example, one category can group post into vintage designs for men and another for women and so on.

Yes I will check this out Tati, I tried to categorize all of the posts and thought it worked but after applying them it still did nothing.
I just checked them out, very confusing. Listen don't worry I will sort it out in due course.
You could change your admin to your first name or pen one.
Users tab, type the intended name, choose it from a drop-down menu, and save the changes.
to change the uncategorized you can add categories and then add the categories to your navigation in your back office.

Thanks Phil, maybe I should delete the pdf bit from the heading? Also how do you change the uncategorized bit?
I did note that all your posts are uncategorized. This should be fixed.
Also, is the PDF supposed to be downloadable? The image is clickable, but doesn't appear to do anything significant.
Nonetheless, the post is very attractive looking.

Hi - just to answer your second question, all the images on your site need to be copyright-free.
Realistically, it can be difficult to find photos of celebrities that you are allowed to use.
I also took a quick look at your profile and noted that you wanted to earn enough to pay for your wedding in eight weeks.
Unfortunately, this is a long-term commitment, and it can easily take several months before you earn even just a few dollars.
But once you fully understand the process and get the ball rolling with your first income, then it should start to increase month on month.
Thanks Diane, yes that was my goal. Looks like it will be plan B at this stage to finance our wedding if we can't sell our car in time.
I notice some images like Getty have a watermark on the top, this is i believe to be copyright?
Hi - if an image has a watermark, that means you can't use it unless you pay for it.
And then, once paid, the watermark will be removed.
Getty Images are extremely expensive!

Thanks Rachele, I did finally find columns but it was not in the normal box on the right side, I had to search for it on the right side. I hope I can get the images right now before I add the links.?

Depending on your theme, things can seem a little funky at times. However, you seem to have a good handle on it.

When you’re working with a gallery block in the block editor the settings for that block are on the right margin of the post editor. You can see the number of columns there.
Are you talking about wordpress or site content section? if it's wordpress, is it on the very bottom of the post content? I have tried this Eric but it doesn't explain it properly .
I managed to align 3 images but they ended up on the wrong page of the post. I am trying to correct what I did yesterday in site content editor and do not know how to transfer the images onto the site content from wordpress.
Choose the gallery block in the block editor in Wordpress, select your images, and then once you create the gallery you can edit the number of columns, image size, etc., from the right sidebar.
Thanks Eric, yes I worked it out yesterday - finally. Also added urls to my other content page. i was also trying to minimize my profile about me picture, I think it's too big but can't find how to reduce it.
