'To keep your search ads while disabling Smart Ads, you'll need to create a new Search campaign in Expert Mode and then disable the Display Network and Search Partners within that campaign's settings'
basically copy the existing campaign and edit the settings...

From my experience, it doesn’t really matter how you publish your videos—what matters is that you do it consistently and at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

After a brief analysis on Page Speed Insights of my website, I learned that the site as a whole for mobile is 40. Yikes! For desktop it's 90. I can live with that.
I see
Yes for me it was the size of my images and I also removed some extra plugins , as my speed was also too slow a few months ago.
I haven’t checked my speed of website in a while so probably your write up was good reminder to do so , for me it seems always best to correct issues as they arise. Positive Vibes
Thanks for your response. It's on my to do list and will get to it probably tomorrow.

the main problem i see with most sites is image file size....
have a look down the list in pagespeed and see if it says you can serve images in a newer format...
then it may be worth installing converter for media - this will automatically convert any images uploaded - but you will need to sort the ones already on your site....
the other main delay is google ads - typical another google product and it slows your site down....
so i would pause this, unless you are making loads of money from it or have a ton of visitors....
and as Jay says theme, using a compact, well coded one will improve your speed....
i did some training on compacting image file size, but it now doesn't come up in the search only if you click on my profile and go for the training....
Thanks Jay. I will do that. I don't think I'm plugin heavy (maybe 5) but I do have a lot of images. I use Generate Press.
How do I know if the user experience is good?
I appreciate your perspective.

Hey Bob,
* Plugins
* Themes
* Images
Those are the typical culprits of page speed with Plugins being the largest.
Try doing the following:
Deactivate one plugin at a time, clear your WA site cache, run the speed test.
If you see a jump in speed, you then have an idea of what is slowing things down.
Regards,
Jay
P.S. Professionally speaking, I personally find 'page speed' a bit hyperbole with the search engines so as long as the user experience is fine.. aka loads fine on the front-end then all should be good.
