My son signed up today for free. Is it possible to check to see where he is and send him a welcome?
If he joined through you, then you will get an email notification and you will be able to see it under "Affiliate Program" "$ WA Affiliate Program" "My Referrals"
You should also get an email telling you that he accepted your invitation. Go to WA Affiliate Program on the left side of the dashboard, it will tell you in there.
Just checked my stats and not only my son, but someone else signed up. Ready to get back to work tomorrow AM.
If I'm not mistaken, if he signed "through you" as you being a WA affiliate, there's a "statistics" page within your affiliate pages that would have that info.
Go to "WA Affiliate Program" on the lower part of the left sidebar of WA then click the "My Referrals" tab at the top.

On going problem. Would like to get this simple one done.
Comments are automatically enabled by default in WordPress. You should not have to turn them on.
Maybe you turned them off thinking you were turning them on?
Settings > Discussion - Make sure it is CHECKED where it says "Allow people to post comments..."
Be sure to SAVE the setting.
If that's not it, check that you have not closed the comments. Go to Settings> Discussion > UNCHECK the option to 'automatically close comments'
If none of the above work, here's training: Enabling and Disabling Comments On WordPress Sites Please post again if still no glory. Maybe it is a theme coding or a plugin interfering. ~Jude
Some themes will not have a comments area. I had to change my theme to be able to get one with comments. If you are going to try the them change don't forget to save your site to your computer before you do.
On one of my websites the form is not visuable for me, only the approved comments are, the comment form not, what is your website, I can look if I can see them
It isn't quite right, your comment form is not under your post, it is only to find when you go there by clicking in the right sidebar on an allready given comment, I don't know how to fix that

Sometimes they are there and then they disappear. Works on a page but not on my posts
I agree with ChrisGooden; check your settings in Appearance, Discussion and see what boxes are ticked.
No experience with this- however I am sure the answer will appear. The ticket's I have read about were answered with timely information.
Know it is frustrating! Hopefully the answer is yours by now.
How can we sort you out since you have received any answers here. Put in support ticket and I will share it to see how it works.
I have not heard of having comments disappear like that. In that case, I would open a ticket and ask them to look at it.
I use 2 browsers. Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. I mainly use Google Chrome and stay logged into my website on that one. When something doesn't look right I revisit it in IE or I bring up a new Incognito window in Chrome.
Frustrating I am sure, not able to advise you on this. Have you tried another browser to see if that is why your not always seeing everything?

My site is mostly a blog roll right now. Content needs to be added on most posts. I would like only one post displayed at a time.
I have derived a series of questions myself. You seem to be asking them for me. Soon I will need to make a folder in my manual, titled KirkW! Then I can index and find all your questions' answers for myself.
The basic structure of an average site is to have 20% content in pages (3 to 5 pages maximum) and the rest, 80%, would be in the form of dynamic blog posts assigned to a single specific category.
For example, an affiliate site would usually have 5 or 6 broad categories, which are created beforehand. Then a category is assigned to each post when it is published.
Of course, it depends on the niche and type of website you want to create. A full e-commerce would probably have a different structure.
You can control how many blog posts appear on the front page display - Settings > Reading.
You can turn a post into a "sticky" and it will always be the first one on the blogroll. ~Jude
Go to Appearance > Header, and under "Static Front Page" in the left sidebar, make sure "Your latest posts" is selected under "Front Page Displays". I think you're OK here, but just check.
Close out of that screen ("X" in the upper left corner), and go to Settings > Reading. Once again, make sure "Front page displays" has "Your latest posts" selected.
Below that, adjacent to "Blog pages show at most", select the number of post segments you'd like to have displayed.
Finally, just below that setting you'll see "For each article in a feed, show" - make sure Summary is selected.
That should do it!
Dennis
Hi Dennis! Thank you for helping me! I tried what you suggested, the trouble is that it still doesn't display my posts unless you click on one of the pages. What am I doing wrong? Thanks again!
PS. I am using ColorMag theme. Should I change it?
Hi Bogdan -
I went to your web site and saw that your home page is blank. Bummer.
When you go to Appearance > Header, under "Static Front Page", which of the two radio buttons is checked ("Your latest posts" or "A static page")? If you've checked "Your latest posts", be sure the word "Posts" appears in the field under "Posts page". If necessary, create a blank page named "Posts" for that purpose.
Let me know how it goes!
Dennis
One other question - when you created the content for your site (Hand tools, Cordless tools, Power tools, etc), did you create them as pages or posts?
I did both. The website is off line right now as it is being worked on. Should be back up tonight.
What is your site?
Have you set up Categories and used these in your menus? This is a way to divide things. Posts get assigned to Categories (can be multiple), then the Category is part of the Menu, so when a user clicks on that menu item, only the Posts for that Category will be displayed.
You can also make Posts sticky, so they stay at the top of the Blog Roll.
You can also try using a Static Front Page.
