Thank God for my special thanksgiving present.
I wish a very happy thanksgiving to everyone.
My special present this year is kidney stones and I have never in my life been so grateful for anything. It's a longer story than you think .
Many of you may have noticed that i haven't been active here this year. In February I went on holiday to Sri Lanka and my husband was very tired the whole time. When we returned I nagged him into going to the doctor's, even though he kept saying,
"I will go when I feel better"
I am assuming that this is a male thing, I am sure no woman will understand this.
Anyway he was diagnosed with lung cancer and it didn't look good. He has undergone months of aggressive chemo and radiotherapy every day. As we travelled for over three hours daily I didn't really have time to do much. Thank God for passive income.
His mindset was great from day one he was going to do what it took to beat it.
Anyway he had a scan a six weeks ago and we thought the cancer had spread as he has been in massive pain in the back and the kidneys. Today he has been told that it is probably kidney stones, which compared to cancer is fantastic news.
So I will be back with a vengeance, I have a lot of training in mind. See you all shortly.

Dear Kay!
What a trial you have endured!
Have you listened to Bruce Lipton? He has a free monthly newsletter audio ...this months is about the Epigenetics of Self Healing!
My thoughts are with you and your husband!
Dr Barb
Thanks Barb, I haven't heard that one, but I am a psych K practitioner and have used the technique often this year. In fact, I would say it got me through the year. I became a fully fledged practitioner, just two days before the diagnosis. I will listen to that, but I am very interested in self-healing, sadly he wanted to go down the chemo radiotherapy traditional route. Of course, it's not my cancer and I couldn't intervene, but it's not the route I would have chosen.
Thanks, Marion, who would ever think that I would or could be deeply grateful for kidney stones. Thank heavens he is a very strong man and has come through the aggressive treatment wonderfully
Thank goodness it was Kidney Stones. That was a really good Thanksgiving present. I hope your husband recovers quickly, Catherine. Happy Thanks Giving
Great news. I've had kidney stones 3 times, and can tell you it's not a great experience, but compared to cancer, I'll take kidney stones any day. All the best. Happy Thanks Giving.
Never thought you could be thankful for kidney stones, but compared to cancer I really do understand, hope truly your husband can beat this, happy Thanks Giving Catherine, and blessings for your husband!
