Usually Wordpress will create a permalink that is made up of each word in your title separated by hyphens (-). So for instance your page titled 'what is in e-liquid' should create a permalink something like 'what-is-in-e-liquid'.
If you want to change the permalink to something else, they are easily editable. Just go into edit page (or edit post) and click the edit button alongside the permalink. Then type in the ending that you want.

Looks like you're using Yoast. Am I right? That's just something yoast does by default. It's removing the stop words like "a" "and" "it" and apparently "what" as well.
AIO SEO doesn't do it and doesn't have an option to do it. Some professional SEOs say that a shorter URL is SEO optimized better than a long one. I don't think there's any proof of that as far as I know.
I've even seen some guys that don't use - in their URL, and some that use dates.
Personally, I just leave the permalink the same as the title. I've experimented using Yoasts method and it didn't seem to make a difference.
Thanks man, You are right lol nice catch on that one. I was using all in one and switched to try out yoast. I am really not that far along so I am still undecided what to use. Does all in one automatically fill out the seo stuff for each page? I thought i heard something like that in the training?
Yes, but it does it in the background. You can ignore all that SEO stuff on the bottom. People use it and some prefer yoast because they mess with that stuff but WA training recommends you don't mess it that stuff.
Yoast fills out your SEO stuff automatically in the background too BTW. Using those boxes just overrides the default settings.

Do we need to use website validation? Does anyone do this? If so do you have a recommend tool for validation?
Hello, Josh. Just another idea, you can go to your dashboard, All In One SEO under general settings. Go down to Google Webmaster, click on the question mark, it will give you the link to verify. Hope this helps, good luck! Peggy
Hey Josh!
Google Webmaster Tools will have website verification - it's a good thing to do.
I'll try to find the links for you
Ok - I'm back
Just type in google webmaster verification in google search and you should find the page - system wouldn't let me post it here.

I noticed that some of my advertisers offer XHTML links and HTML links. What is the difference and when should I use or not use them?
I never saw Xhtmml links before, I'm only familiar with html, sorry I can't help you any further

Is it recommended to use a ping service like pingomatic.com or no? If so who do you use and why?
Okay I am confused, I have been reading comments here in WA and I just want to get it straight. I have pingomatic set up yet someone says to use pingoat and other members say don't do any pinging, so what is the correct answer. Do I do any pinging or not?
No, Wordpress will automatically ping for you, so there's no need to manually ping.
If your intention is to get indexed faster, you can use this: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/get-posts-pages-indexed-faster-in-google-with-webmaster-tools
Is there any harm to manually ping them again Nathaniell with the likes of pingoat etc? or is it not recommended?
