Crowdfunding, Here We Go!
Wow, what major news has occurred over the past 48 hours!
Sprouting from one of my new web design projects, I referred my partner to my client for an area they needed but in which I have no formal expertise.
Crowdfunding.
My partner has been running successful crowdfunding campaigns since 2013.
Unbelievable what a simple referral can do.
I am now involved in assisting the crowdfunding campaign, and will be getting a percentage of the proceeds!!
On Sunday night, we had a 90 minute conference call with the client and ironed out all the details. We are signing the contract tomorrow.
The Best of Both Worlds
As I currently do not have any direct experience in the crowdfunding area, being “cut in” on the deal while having the privilege of becoming an inquisitive student of crowdfunding and also having a direct front-seat window into the process presents the best of both worlds!
What a fantastic stroke of fortune!
Right now I am obviously restricted by confidentiality of details, but you can be rest assured my friends I definitely will be keeping everyone abreast on further developments of this new crowdfunding campaign as this new project goes along!
A Direct Window into Success
But let me not get head of myself here and “count my chickens” before they hatch. We meet to get the contract signed tomorrow. As you know from my recent post, a deal is not a deal until it is signed by both parties on the dotted line.
Always Make Sure You Have a Contract
Anything can still happen. But I’m looking at a direct window into success.
And it is looking really, really GOOD!
I will keep everyone posted on what happens over the next day or two, my dear Friends!

This is awesome, Kaju. Eager to see how this process plays out, as I am interested in crowdfunding for certain farm projects I have in mind.
To successfully raise funds for those projects would be great, but to parlay that into crowdfunding consulting would be even cooler.

Coincidentally, my partner who does crowdfunding has a sister and brother-in-law currently living in the suburbs of Seattle who run an organic farm there.
This will be a very rewarding journey!
So yes, there is more than a coincidental interest we share in this crowdfunding campaign Haven.
