The Chickens are Coming!
It has been a busy week for the farm operation and I haven't been able to plant my butt at the computer much, but there is exciting news. The chickens are coming! Next Tuesday, the 4th of September, will mark the day the first animals will be on the ground at the farm. It still feels surreal. I haven't figured out exactly how I am going to get them here, but come hell or high water, they're going to be here by next Tuesday. This wasn't the way we planned to get this operation off the ground at al
Newbies in Training- Revisit Your Early Posts!
The early days of training are a whirlwind at WA. I have only been here since June, and I have loved it!I dove headlong into the training, and couldn't believe how much I learned in my first few weeks at WA. I followed the training, built a website, created content, connected with a lot of like-minded people, and I kept moving forward. My website was indexed and I was excited. A couple of posts were indexed and I was more excited. I was getting the ball rolling...However, as with any sort of tr
Whack Away the Weeds
I was doing a little yard maintenance this evening after work. I am taking care of my sisters place while she and her family are on vacation in Europe. Lucky Me! It's actually pretty good, but that's a story for another post.I honestly like doing yard work...most of the time. I looked down the fence line and

No, this isn't one of my many WA mentors, so don't worry.I got an email from Amazon today notifying me that my "mentor" is coming out with a new book. Based on the title, it is almost exactly the same concept as my website and "niche". I got the notification of course because I have all of his previous works on my bookshelf.I was a little bummed at first, thinking, crap he stole my idea. However, I think this could be a real blessing in disguise. This guy is pretty much the top guru for my nich
Self Review of my Reviews - I suck!
My daughter has this stuffed Teddy Bear that sings toddler songs. Great for learning, awful on repeat. There are only so many times the adult brain can tolerate "if your happy and you know it jump up high!".But the other day my daughter was sitting in her high chair, and apparently not happy with what was on the menu, put her hands together, squeezed and said, "I'm taking a breath"! It took me a second to put things together. There is another verse to the above tune that goes. "If you're frustr
