Lost motivation......
Somewhere along the line I have lost motivation. Where to find it again???? I have been very uninvolved with WA for the past little while and am not sure why, used to look forward to getting on daily and checking things out. I almost cancelled my membership, but couldn't quite go through with it. I want this membership to at least pay for itself........:(

im with you both, I contemplated canceling my membership today, I dont feel like im really getting anywhere and I know its my fault but still i like the community and people but it is alot of money, ive thought of stepping back and coming back in when Im more organized. thoughts?

May I ask you a question? Help me understand your initial motivation to become a member of WA. What were you hoping to accomplish? What is your BIG WHY for becoming an online entrepreneur?
These questions are important because if your sole motivation is chasing money as so many do, you might want to take some time and step back a bit.
I see from your profile that you started WA in March of 2014. By May of 2014, you reported your first sale. That dear one is remarkable. It took me months to get my first sale. You managed to do it in 2 months. Do you know how rare that is?
That tells me you have something good going for you. But internet marketing is kind of like farming. The farmer does the hard work of plowing the field, cultivating the soil, planting the seed, pulling up the weeds, getting rid of the bugs and then fertilizes and keeps watering until the harvest comes in.
I love Marcel's comment below, "Maybe the question is, what inspires you?" When you step back and find your passion and purpose, you will press on through the rain and snow and scorching heat to fulfill your purpose and accomplish what you set out to do.
If you are having money issues at home, send me a PM. You have the support of many here in the WA community Jen even if you aren't receiving the encouragement you'd like at home.
Find some good WA success stories. Fill your thoughts with your dreams. Step back and do something really relaxing for yourself. You'll be surprised at how your creative mind will bounce back. ~Rebecca
Hi Jenn - be realistic. You haven't been at it very long. You can of course give up if that's what you want - but I have a feeling you will disappoint yourself if you do. The motivation can only come from within. How much do you want it? If you want it you'll push yourself through this current hurdle. If you don't really want it then you'd be better off saving your money. I hope you'll stay. :) Beverley
Motivation comes and goes, Jenn. The trick is to keep working on your business even when you are not too motivated. Success will happen with persistence, regardless of your motivation.

Hey Jenn, It's true that this is one of the most frustrating markets to be in when you're not seeing results right off the bat. It's also true that most people give up on it right before they start to see those results pay off.
I've gone through a few different phases of frustration, but what I concluded is that it wasn't the venture of online business, it was that I needed to find a niche that I'm really passionate about. There's nothing wrong with my WA promo site, but I need to be really personally excited about what I'm researching, writing about, helping people with.
Maybe the question is, what inspires you? And are you able to take that and apply what you are learning here to create a business that motivates you every day?
Probably trying too hard Jenking43. Do something else then go back to it. I've just started and I'm splashing stuff everywhere I can think of.
Adjusting my old website & so on.
Further to my comment Jenking, I'm all too familiar to lack of motivation; mine is caused mainly by type one Bipolar Disorder, especially when I'm in a depressive state I really have to push myself. If I go quiet for a day or two you know what has happened. At the moment I'm trying to do ten things at once.

Internet Marketing is a lot like the old riddle "How do you eat an elephant? ..... One bite at a time" Just keep plodding along and eventually you will have your website done. Then eventually you will get some sales. Then perhaps a second or third website and more sales. At one point you will stop and say "Hey this is working for me".
Its not about getting rich. It is about making a business.
Hang in there and persistence is your most important asset.

I am going to say one thing... NEVER give up!! Keep persisting and keep on taking steps, even if they are the tiniest of steps and doesn't seem like you getting anywhere, just don't stop! One day you will wake up and be like... OMW!! I am getting massive results, I am sooo glad I didn't give up, this is becoming easier and easier!
The Universe or Powers that be, will test you and see how badly you want to reach your dreams before it allows you to reach your dreams. Like Rebecca said... What is your MEGA WHY? Your ultimate reason for reaching your dreams...
Mine is to have unlimited access to my children with no restraints... I live in Johannesburg, my daughter in Canada and my son in Cape Town and when I have the freedom to fly around the world at a drop of a hat is it going to be INCREDIBLE!!
You can do this and you can reach your dreams!!
