Terrific Thursday's Temptations & Toils!

Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!

First comes a quick recap of the few hours spent with Monica last night. I left a bit early, and got over to her house to take care of a few tasks that I had been putting off, and she was gracious enough to help me in those endeavors.

I arrived at her house early.

I was first surprised to see Blog Dog Star with a cone around her neck. Monica said that Tillie (aka Godtilla) had bitten her pretty good on the leg.

Above is Godtilla--a caricature that I made when Monica spent a LOT of money on this whimsical purchase at the behest of her oldest daughter.

Anyhow, we had a good time together in the evening, and I hated having to go later, but that is just the way it is right now, and has been for a few years at least.

I enjoyed chatting with her, and young Jacob while I washed a couple of dishes and filled up three water jugs, She even made me dinner too. I washed some clothes and took a long hot bath too!

Then it was back to the eBay house.

I slept very well, and woke up a bit earlier than usual again--about 5:30 am.

It was soon time to get back on the computer to visit the vibrant Wealthy Affiliate Community again too!

That went well, and rather quickly too! I was quite surprised.

Kitty elected to wisely stay in bed. The house is warming up slowly, but it will take a little more time. So far, the weather has not cooperated very much either--go figure! We are expecting more rain according to the latest forecast. That remains to be seen though.

An early morning phone call gave me greater news!

I have been granted Veteran's Administration benefits. That is excellent, and it was fast. There are still some things that I have to do there, as well. Ron had helped me with that during my extended stay at his house.

Monica called and chatted with me for about 10 minutes at her second job. That was a nice surprise.

After that, I finally decided to take a couple of images of the somewhat dreary day, including the title image.

We were still in the mid 30s, but it has been raining off and on! I seriously doubt that the 51 degree initial forecast will be reached. I still have not seen the sun today.

Snow was forecasted earlier, and now rain, , and then snow again. so it is generally a dismal day work-wise. I might try to add a long-awaited blog post to my website, if time permits since I am inside taking care of other tasks.

We shall see! I have gotten a good chunk of the living room re-arranged, so that is helping me to situate the dry firewood that still remains inside. Some of the damper firewood is near by.

I had a quick errand to run for Kitty, so I did that next.

It was quick, and went well! She was glad to get some additional cat food!

Then, I kept the truck running, and got warmer, while waiting for my buddy Kevin to call from Nebraska!

I captured two more images while I was waiting for him to call.

The birds in the large Oak tree out back, first.

Then there was the noticeable snow melt, as well! Then he called and we chatted for a shorter period since he had been running late for work.

As far as I am concerned, the rest of the evening is done, other than getting some more clean-up done. There is also still a chance that I might get a little writing done too!

I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAD A TERRIFIC THURSDAY, WHICH IS ALREADY ANOTHER FRISATSU'S EVE! LET'S MAKE IT THE BEST ONE YET!
