A Person in my network here in this wonderful community of ours COPIED My WA REVIEW VERBATIM Including pictures!
WOW I dont know how to feel about this but surely right now I am 100% ANGRY!
WHY?
I FOUND out from Jays Hot Seat Webinar.
I was not able to attend it live so today I decided to watch the replay and there it was!
He copied huge chuncks of my review word for word.
Even pictures,
Even my own "Cool Graphic" thing.
I am not going to name and shame him
He is a young new member here and in my network - I KNOW WHO YOU ARE!
I just want to tell you, Its not cool to copy other peoples hard work and claim it as your own
Go back to your review and do the right thing.
If you were inspired by my review, you are free to follow the format but not steal my work please!!!
It sucks.

I am very sorry to learn of this Jane. I can imagine how you feel. My feelings would be the same if it happened to me. Reporting this to Kyle is probably the right thing to do.
You say he is young. Maybe he didn't realize the possible consequences of what he was doing. I know that doesn't solve this problem but he needs to know how the seriousness of his action.

I was also going to write: "Don't worry about it, instead enjoy the flattery and comedy of it", because it is always easy to virtue signal when it isn't your own ox that is gored. đ
In Hausa we'd day, "Banza mutum ne". I won't translate that here, but suffice it to say that he's received a stiff telling off!

I would think it needs to be reported, it is disgraceful. This person is clearly trying to take shortcuts and not prepared to put in the work himself so he is unlikely to remain here anyway. All the best to you.
That is unfortunate Jane, on some level it is a compliment but definitely not acceptable in the greater scheme of things. I think it should be reported as this can hardly be taken as a mistake and this person's future behaviour bares monitoring.

I'm so sad, I feel like a loser yet it should not be me to feel like that.
No reason to feel sad (easy for me to say). Plagiarizing content is a horrible business strategy and will not rank well. Hopefully, they do the right thing.

I would also let Jay know. If he had been aware of this I am sure the post would not have been featured in his training and I'm pretty sure he'd have had words with the plagiarist too. I am truly shocked that this has happened to you. I'd be incandescent if it happened to me. Good luck with getting this sorted out and please be sure to update us all with the outcome.
Just make sure you only let Kyle know and no one else others don't need to know the details nor who that person is. No need to give others any info on this except for Kyle only

I would feel exactly the same, try not to take it personally. Your article must have been awesome for this person to copy it, hopefully they will see your blog, realise their error of judgement and make amends.
