Hey there,

I'm Jacqueline and my passion is, and has been for many years, learning about and exercising many forms of personal development.

I've had cancer twice - the first being a Ewing's Sarcoma at the age of six (which resulted in being a 'guinea pig' for chemotherapy here in New Zealand) and then bowel cancer at forty eight... I'm now fifty so hopefully I've had my share of 'scary' medical problems!

Edit: Woohoo - got the ALL CLEAR of cancer this month February 2017 - Soooo much to be grateful for!

With my 'medical hiccups' personal development has featured highly for me, not just for coping with what's come along over the years, but, for constantly finding ways to getting the most out of life as well.

I appreciate EVERYTHING I currently have in my life and everything in my past. I've worked towards seeing everything that might seem as a negative element, taking the emotion out of it, turning that into a learning curve and just seeing it as another awesome adventure without the drama!

Being here is a new adventure into seeing what's possible, creating websites, sharing what I’ve learned and learning from the rest of our community.

Actually on that note, I've already been online for over 8 years now, I've worked through a number of different online learning platforms and to date Wealthy Affiliate is the best I've come across.

I know that sounds a little over the top but WA has everything I've always wanted, professional 'no fluff' training, timely support and a community that goes out of their way to help out their fellow WA members - it's like hanging out with your extended family everyday - very cool.

I've been here for a couple of months now and I've found that I'm now building cohesive and comprehensive websites because of the excellent, one step at a time, training here at WA.

Thanks to the foundation members of Wealthy Affiliate, Kyle and Carson, for making this training available. Having everything in one place and with such a friendly, inviting community I can see that this is exactly where I need to be in order to be successful.

Thanks again for making this possible and it's off to Las Vegas in early 2018, here I come!!

Cheers,

Jacqueline

Hi Jacqueline, Lovely to connect with a fellow KIWI... I've just joined WA and live down on the stunning West Coast of the South Island :) It sounds like you've had quite the journey, both in real life and also through your experiences here on WA. Take care and all the best, Karen

Hey there Karen,

I love that there's quite a number of Kiwis here, I connected with a lady that lived only 20 minutes from me - we've yet to catch up for a coffee!

We've been to the South Island but not along the West Coast. We've recently bought a caravan and a trip to the South Island is definitely on the cards.

We live in the Bay of Plenty, Pukehina to be exact. Let me know if you're ever coming this way, we could definitely catch up.

I see by your profile that you're new to affiliate marketing, let me know if there's anything I can help you with. But for now, definitely just follow through with the Starter training, that is the 'bones' of the course.

Great to meet you Karen, and honestly, if you need help or just someone to talk about 'this stuff' with, give me a holler.

Cheers,

Jacqueline

Hello Jacqueline
I am touched by your bio. You are such a fighter with a positive spirit. I have an experience with cancer in the family and that is one of the reasons I am passionate about nutrition,- my goal is to pursue: fighting chemotherapy and radiation side effects.
I would like to follow you and learn from you as well. You have achieved a lot here in such a short time.
I wish you the best of success

Hey there Margaret,

I'm sorry to hear that you have someone in your family going through cancer, I'm glad they've got someone like you that has a passion for nutrition within the chemo and radiation side effects.

That was not something that I looked into while going through chemo but made sure to eat healthy enough. I'm sure I would have got a lot out of your experience with nutrition.

Thanks for connecting with me here, I'm absolutely loving the WA platform and I wish you all the best here as well.

Cheers Margaret,

Honored to follow and humbled to be followed herein @ WA .
Being fairly new my only advice is to 'use the tools' because I've found this place far&away; the best place to crawl, walk, and run.
My goal is to make people better in health via a Functional Wellness approach and look forward to 'reaching out' to many more here.
I wish you and yours much success in all of your business venture(s) and new life moments.

Wow congrats on your all clear report. Your an inspiration, along with your positive outlook Jacqueline you will be able to help many. I noticed you are from New Zealand, I was there for a month when I was in grade 7, (I'm 51 now) so it has been a few years. I had some school assignments to do while there in Jan and Feb. and you know I was on the Honor role that year so I believe the experience did wonders. My Aunt and I toured the North and South Island and I'm hoping to retire soon and take my husband. The country was beautiful then and I'm thinking it has only gotten better. Looking forward to visiting your website. Have a great day.

WOW great Bio, Jacqueline, (and yes I'm another from Bay of Plenty, New Zealand) actually there are quite a few Kiwi here.

I relate with you (I'm sure many others do as well), I have had several serious medical mis-haps; 2 retinal detachments and yes going blind is a scary process, being unable to drive and relearning to judge distances again while recovering etc was a slow process, I've also had double extruded disks that laid me up unable to walk for few weeks and 8 + months recovery, and a few other things that should give me every reason to NOT do a lot of stuff - but Like you I try to turn things around and find reasons to do and help others along the way.

I would love to see your website(s) and support you with everything you are doing, congrats and keep it up you are an inspiration for many others - following with interest Tracey

Woohoo Tracey to meeting Kiwi's on here - it's such a buzz!

I so get you about these medical mishaps, I consider myself extremely lucky in the scheme of things.

I still have my health, my body's just a bit 'beat up' - hehe!

I'm so grateful for where I'm at - a friend, my age, had a stroke a few months back and now she can't smell or taste anything! Yes, with that in mind, and many other things in mind for that matter - my life is amazing!

I looked at your website - love the name! It looks great and very well built out. I just wanted to point out that your WA review is under Choose to Cruise instead of Reviews - not sure if that's where you wanted it!

I'll go back and read your site more thoroughly and leave a comment in the next day or so! You sure have a lot of great content from what I can see, it might be my read over lunch today :-)

I see you live in Te Puke, that makes me giggle, we live in Pukehina - we'll have to catch up some time!

By the way, here's my website:

IMProductReviewers.com

It's a website in progress, I've had it for a while now and have just started to revamp it - let me know what you think - that would be great.

Well, I've nearly written a novel, hope your day is awesome.

Hiya again,

Good for you & yes we should do lunch sometime would be awesome to actually meet someone in person from this awesome community.

I took a quick look at your website, you have obviously done a lot of work - you should be proud of your achievements. A little tweaking, same mistake I did in the beginning "too much 'white space'... I have no idea when someone else from WA told me... but when you insert an image right click the image and select the position... have a play with where things look better and you can wrap the txt around the image. Isn't it awesome how we can just simply and easily change the look, layout and Themes. My next step is to learn coding in fact my 8 year old son wants to learn coding and create a club for like-minded kids to learn and share together... I've created a new website for him recently here is his first page www.coolkiwikidz.club/hi-and-welcome
... one of my other big 'bee in my bonnet' is that we do not learn the important 'life skills things like money and business until we are adults... - why can't we give our children 'tools to grow with?'

My suggestion is to just wander around a few other websites and see 'what pops' for you... how they can be made visually more appealing, to 'capture' ones eye and hold their attention a little longer. You could also try SumoMe a free wordpress app/plugin thing that helps with all sorts of things to better enhance your website. hahaha again I gotta learn when to stop cheers for now you are welcome to send friend request to Fb or text me 021520539

Good evening Jaqueline,

NZ is on the to see list as my friend has been there and tells me it is lovely. As I was born in Australia and always took care of having my passport you never know I might land in your country one day.
Of course I have to hurry a bit as one does not get younger but I would love to have one more house, be it somewhere in the area where I live or on the other side of the globe, one never knows how Europe will develop after all.. Happy to hear you had the all clear just recently, if ever you have questions in that direction I will be happy to tell you what I know.
Thank you for the follow and good luck.

Good afternoon to you Jacqueline, my name is Ken and I welcome you to WA and thank you for the follow. I'm following you back. I am very happy for you that you have 'beat the odds' and everything is full speed ahead! Not many people make it through the living hell of Chemo and have a great life ahead of them. My wife didn't make it. The treatment got her. But I am so thankful you made it and you can be that beacon that shines for others.
I recently read a blog here that quoted Tony Robbins, "Successful people ask better questions, and as a result, they get better answers". Perhaps you can use your experience to help other people afflicted with this disease to fight the good fight to win!
I suggest you set your calendar for Friday evenings at 7:00 pm so you can watch and learn from Jay, the WAbinars from Magistudios that teach you how to be successful online, regardless your niche or platform.
I look forward to working with you and wish you much success and prosperity in your building an online empire.

First, thank you for adding me to your network, it is a pleasure to meet you, I am following back.

Secondly, thank you for responding to my question. I love the advice and that is what I thought of was looking back at the messages sent to me to get and idea of what to put in my auto responder but I signed up in 2015 and do not have them anymore. I procrastinated for two years before getting started, bad idea on my part (LOL). I will get it figured out somehow, cannot find a training on it. I built a website and cannot seem to figure out this auto responder thing, LOL

Lastly, just want to say I love your story. I am a traveling nurse and see this a lot. You have conquered so many battles in life which makes you a stronger person. There is nothing in life you cannot do, best of luck in your WA journey.

Hey there, thanks for touching base!

I've had cancer twice in my life, when I was 6 and then 18 months ago so I know a fair bit about coping with that BUT I've always been a pretty positive person and I've been through a number of personal development courses that have helped me through the tougher times.

I think a website with cancer patients and their families in mind, with a personal development spin on it.

I have a ton of stories about my journey through cancer and how it affected my family, my relationships with friends etc so I have a close affinity with my subject matter.

I want to put a positive spin on the name of my website, with the word cancer in it but not in a dreary way like: coping with cancer dot com

I feel like this is what I'm meant to do and YES PLEASE I would love your help.

Cheers,

Jacqueline

Thanks for getting back to me, I'm spending a bit of time today pondering and researching a name for my website. I'm not feeling as 'stuck' today as I was yesterday because I know that I'm heading in the right direction and once I register my domain name everything will flow from there.

I'm tearful now thinking about the fact that I wish I had somewhere to go when times got tough because only cancer patients know what cancer patients are going through. Like most health conditions, it's hard to explain what it's like unless you know first hand.

Thanks again Kyle for getting back to me, this is an amazing platform and my plan is to stay fully immersed, interactive and constantly grateful to you for having the foresight to bringing this website into fruition, it couldn't have been easy!

Cheers AND Watch This Space! Yipee!

If you need a hand with anything at all moving forward as you build out your website let me know. You are truly inspiring. :)

Just wanted to shoot you a quick message and see how things were going thus far Jacqueline? I am here to help if you ever need a hand with anything, just holler!

PS. Also, quick reminder. Today is the last day to get your first month discount/bonuses. No rush, no worries. Just a simple reminder here. :)

Hey Jacqueline, just wanted to pop back and see how you are doing? I noticed that you haven't quite set-up your account yet, just wanted to let you know there is a video on how to do this if there is any confusion. Setting up your account will lead to much better help here within the community as people feel like they can connect with you better (with an image and a description)

Just wanted to make sure that all was good and if you do need a hand with anything, just let me know! :)
