Hey there and a Big Welcome to Day 20 of Learn How to Build a Website Yourself in WordPress 2017 – I’m super excited!

A recap on what I did yesterday – Day 19:
· Checked out keyword positions in Google on my first post in Website 1
· Announced that I’m starting a new project – called Website 2 – just so I can distinguish them when writing my posts here
So here we are at Day 20 And Wow…
Yesterday I said that I was ‘really excited’ about this new project, Website 2, but now I’ve researched my keywords more in depth – I’m OVER THE MOON EXCITED!
I’m always trying to think and work smarter rather than harder – as I’m sure we all are!
I’ve always felt that it would be great to build an affiliate site as a trend was growing not when the trend was over and because there’s so many marketers now promoting that product I’m now competing with a ton of other people in the search engines.
*** Well, I’ve found a product range that’s a new and consistent growing trend and I’m going for it… Woohoo!***
I would love to tell you what this trend is, BUT, then I would be giving away my new business concept and inviting competition – not a smart thing to do – I’m sure you’ll agree!
What I will tell you … Is the reason I’m so excited…
The keywords in this new trend has amazing searches and right now, those searches have very little competition. Because the trend is so new there’s a lot of people searching for the items I’ll be promoting but not many affiliate marketers have got on the band wagon yet in promoting them!
AND, because the trend is so new I’ve decided to build an Authority Site – something I’ve never actually contemplated before – so this is pretty exciting stuff for me.
I went through the WA Keyword Tool and found amazing keywords:
Keyword 1 – Main Keyword (two words)

Article Power – 7.6 – this is a bit lower than I would like but only by .4
Keyword 2 – this one is Super Wow – this is a long tailed keyword (6 words) WITH a buyer’s keyword – includes the words ‘where to buy’
Searches – 10,533
Traffic – 1,791
Competition - 29
Article Power - 10
Keyword 3 (3 words)
Searches – 5,417
Traffic - 921
Competition - 118
Article Power – 8.8
Keyword 4 (3 words)
Searches – 3,746
Traffic - 637
Competition - 70
Article Power - 8.5
Well actually the list just goes on and on…
Well folks, not much of a lesson today, but I just wanted to share with you my absolute excitement!

She flies out for her Big OE to Europe tomorrow. That’s super exciting for her, and for me too, as I know the excitement of traveling and I'm so glad she gets to experience that!
