The Greatest Perk Internet Marketing Has to Offer
Unlimited vacation time.
Seriously, if there's one thing I'll never be able to give up about Internet Marketing, it will be the unlimited vacation time. When I was in college I would hear recent graduates talk about their one week of vacation time each year. And there would always be that guy who chimed in to "brag" that he got "two whole weeks!"
Hearing that always left me depressed, but motivated. No way was I going to spend 50 weeks a year working for someone else to be thankful that I got 10 days away from work.
And I never have.
Where am I now?
We're finishing up a drive from San Francisco down to Los Angeles. We've taken a few days to drive down the Pacific Coast Highway and see some of the beautiful California coast. This is all before we spend some time on Maui.
Here are some photos from our trip.
The Golden Gate Bridge
Crazy folk.
Lazy folk.
The Bixby Bridge in Big Sur
And of course, my lovely partner in crime Amanda who recently quit her full-time job to become an Internet Marketer as well...
All of this because...
So why am I showing you these pictures and talking about how awesome my unlimited vacation time is? Well, outside of the obvious humblebrag, I wanted to let you know that no matter where you are in the process, I was once exactly where you are. I was able to get to where I am today by pushing myself constantly. While the vacations are nice, I'm always hard at work and trying to learn something new.
Keep at it. It can only get better from here.

Thanks Steve, that is very inspiring. Its not the traveling that lures, but the thought of not depending on others for a livelihood that spurs me now.
It is also how many others we can help when we're successful (notice the WHEN?). That's my motivation now.
Thank you again for reminding me why I got into this Internet thing which has always been a mystery bugging me.
God bless you,
Shirley
Lovely pictures! My husband and I just did the very same drive last month. We saw all the scenes you showed (except your lovely wife, of course). Thanks for sharing.

Very nice. But you forgot to mention that you also don't have to apply for that vacation time at least 6 months in advance and that you don't have to take a cut in pay during it.
Sure, rub it in lol.
To this day, the greatest perk of working within the online world has less to do with money and far more to do with the flexibility of the environment.
Whether you are travelling down the Cali coast or sitting in a coffee shop in Italy, we are connected these days and we can run our business from wherever we like. This is the ultimate motivation!
Hope you guys have an awesome trip, we drove the Big Sur this past fall and it was nothing short of amazing.
How true Kyle. I keep thinking how we're connected now wherever we are. I bless the day I found your site.
Thank you Kyle, Carson and Vitaliy. I'm not in a hurry, but I'll get there eventually. Studying very hard now.
God bless....Shirley
Coffee shop in Italy? That right there is more than enough for me to not only make it to Vegas, but to also get to that damn coffee shop, just to say I did that!
...feeling a bit depressed reading this and looking at your pics. ;) HAHA. hey, I will get there too. Thanks for the encouragement, Steve.
