I'm thinking ahead to when I start adding content, particularly my own photos, to my website. I know in the past I had seen online that people can find the exact location where
When you insert an image into your website all you have to do is to make sure you go to the ATTACHMENT DISPLAY SETTINGS and click on the one that says link to and when the drop down menu comes out just click on the word "none". This way when they hoover there courser over the image in your page there will be no info for them to see.
Some digital cameras and mobile phones store the GPS location by default. Check to see if there is an option to remove the default setting in those devices.
I don't know about Mac computers, but with Windows, after uploading photos, select Properties and there is an option to remove personal information, such as location, date taken. This will copy the photo into a folder without personal data. You can then upload the clean photo to your website or social media via your computer.
