I have been active for about a year. My site has 89 posts, 52 are indexed. Ranking 1 on Bing and Yahoo, nothing on Google. I have not had a single sale. I have tried leavin

Have you thought about submitting your site for feedback? Other members could point out what's missing, what to improve and whatnot.

Hi George,
I had a look at your site and it looks good, I'm assuming your USA based? One thing I wondered is why you're not promoting WA on it, I may have missed it, but if you were to tell people they can build their business through a website and develop marketing etc using the hub - it may benefit both you and them.
Keep up the great work!!!

Thanks. When I picked my niche it is something I have been working with for my entire career. I am US based.

How much traffic are you getting? That is the key.

SEO has changed very much in the last year, and you shouldn't solely focus the entirety of your business on it. The key is getting in front of people, helping them, and then making product/service recommendations (if you are generating revenue through affiliate marketing).

I know you have just started with Facebook, but if you have one follower, you need to be MUCH more active there, share more value, and I think as mentioned you should follow the likes of Vitaliy that is growing Facebook pages fast (I have a sent you a link to his training).

Those would be my recommendations. Don't just say it doesn't work, if something isn't working, let's work to understand why and understand what your actions are in an ongoing basis that you are taking that will potentially lead you to results. You need to make sure you are making good use of your time.

I took Jay's classes for FaceBook. One of his suggestions was to look at sites in a similar to mine and like all of the people that liked them. I did this and didn't get any results. My web site should be appealing to business people. My site is called small-businessplanning.com. I tried getting comments on my posts and have received quite a few. I'm wondering if my site is too dry for people. I'll admit it doesn't have the sizzle that other niches do. Do you dee anything wrong with my niche? Should I try something else?

I have been placing links with key words on my posts but I am not getting any results at all. Is is better to try to sell the product with verbiage or just use the links?

As you follow along in the training, step by step, Kyle explains how to create solid content that converts. Once you connect with your audience, answering the questions they’re looking for answers to in your content, that’s what gets them to click through on your links. 👍🏼

Remember George, we're not selling products like a salesman. We're offering solutions to problems. Customers will click that link if they trust us.

For example, if I am suffering with back pain and your article shows a back brace that can help me. I will click on that link because I AM READY to buy. So, it depends on the customers mindset.

Hope this helps.

So you have to explain the product for them to click the link?

Share how this product can help solve my back pain problem. The product must be relevant to the article.

Why would I click on a link for a blender if the article is sbout safety gadgets for infants? There is no relevance here.

Now , I would click on that link for a blendern if the article is about how to make great smoothies using Blender Fast. There is relevance here.

Hope this helps.

All the best,
Maxine :)

So then you have to talk about tge benefits of the product to get them to buy. I believe it is suggestive selling!

Could you give me some examples of what you did that worked please.

Talking about benefits help to build trust.

Building trust comes way before clicking affiliate links

There's something called a customer purchase cycle.

Think about what zI'm going to ask you. And, answer honestly.

Do you purchase a product/ anything when you see it the 1st time?

Or do you purchase that product when you are ready?

Maxine :)

I wrote a blog about a presale. You can read it here as I promote a number 2 pencil. But it is the same principle for suggesting a product. Read it if you are so inclined to do so.

To answer your two questions. I do purchase a product when I see it the first time but I research it. I also purchase a product when I need it.

Great, then you know how customers think. Do your thing.

I hope you have awesome success.

Maxine

Long story short... the best way is to be authentic with what you have to share. Share your experience and hopefully someone will resonate and give them a reason to try.

Not sure I follow. The posts are authentic. The products are all good. It’s getting tge users to buy. Do I need to act like a salesman?

I was taught not to 'sell' but to 'share'

How do you get a transfer verification code?

You may transfer or point to WA servers (if transferring domain has to end in .com, .net or .org.

To update your domain DNS settings to point to WA. Here are the DNS settings.

ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com

These settings will be updated within your domain registrar (where you purchased your domain) after the transfer has taken place. To transfer your domain here, you need to log in to the current registrar and fetch the EPP code; there's a one-year charge of $15.99, privacy included. One year more will get added to your domain.

Also, it has to have passed the grace period of 60 days.

If your site has content, you need to contact site support for further instructions.

They will typically ask you for FTP info and your domain name; they'll set up a siterubix subdomain and upload files. Then, you can check everything is okay before you point your domain to WA servers.

Hi George,

There's is some discussion here about the subject. Otherwise, have thought about changing the nameservers where you purchased the domain?

When I started the program previously I got to the point where my web site was developed and I stopped before buying a domain. Should I delete everything I did before and start from scratch or bust build a new hub with what I have finished?
Thanks,

You can build out your site by creating a hub for that website. No need to delete things
