My website is about vinyl records-turntables etc I had someone helping me for about a month then this person said i might consider a new niche?? I am not stopping what Im doi

I would not give up on you niche either. DYK that 16.8 million vinyl records were sold last year (Source: Statistica)! Pretty hefty niche. So go finish your review of the 5 turntables, then turn around and make another post about something in your niche. When you write it, put a link in to your post to the "Best 5..." Just be creative and use something like:

===>>> My Top Five Reccomendations <<

Hi George not exactly sure what you are asking but I find that is is better to work through a problem and finish or solve it before moving on ...this way i am not putting off things that I likely won't get back to .. It doesn't have to be perfect just do your best and move on ...practice makes perfect as they say ..

I would keep trying to get through that training, even doing it over and ask specific questions in the community to help - don't skip it.

Hi Kyle. I had a member kindly helping me for about a month and was very helpful - however recently she started asking me about getting the actual product I was reviewing. My

Hey man,
I just wanted you to know this question went to the community and not to Kyle directly. I know you're asking specifically for his input so I just wanted to let you know.

Thx. I originally hit private message to Kyle. But then it asked for classroom? The classroom box was mandatory to fill in so not sure how to get a message to Kyle?

Because Kyle is so busy, when you opt to message him you're given something like 6 options. 3 of those options actually message the community and not Kyle directly. The options you should choose are:
Billing & Membership
WA Affiliate Program
Report Content

When you pick one of those, you'll see "Contact Kyle or Carson". That tells you it's going to them vs somewhere else.

Another option is to leave a message on his profile page but that's not really the right way to contact him for this particular issue.

so i have put off finishing Module 6 for days I an just getting back on to get going again

My site is about vinyl records, turntables etc

I wanted to do a post abo

I have looked into how to add Amazon images but it requires associate memembership- I believed I applied for that and had trackingid but now i cant seem to get into associate portal- I dont know if it got cancelled for some reason?

Normally when Amazon cancels they send you an email.
Have you tried using their acceptance email link to log on?

actually I got it sorted out- but thank you very much!

That is great. All the best.

Hi George, it's NOT okay to copy product picture or reviews from Amazon. Here are some tips on how you can write reviews on products that you don't own. There are many tips offered by members here when it comes to writing product reviews from Amazon, on what works and what doesn't. You can find them by using the search bar on the dashboard.

Hope this helps.

Thx Cathy always for your help

I get the idea- I guess now it is time to figure out what are the 5 best turntables- this may take some time as there are hundreds available under $500

Oh- and you mentioned create a product review page and create a link? I not familiar with how to do that at all?

Any suggestions- I already know a few that show up on most best of list- guess I will start there

Thx

> create a product review page and create a link? > It's basically creating an internal link.

Here's a quick tutorial to show you that;

Thx Cathy- I guess its the "create a page" part Im not sure about- is that like a separate post or something? Im doing this in Site Content so wasn't sure how to do that?

Thx as always

Also i am not sure how to add images for these products-I looked at " How to add Amazon Images" but it requires an Amazon Associate account. I applied for one about a month ago but I guess there is a problem I will need to contact Amazon about- not sure but i cant log into my Amazon Associate account

Yes, it's a separate post. And it should be easier to link from inside your WordPress blog.

Call Amazon and see if they can log you back in. They will most likely cancel an account for no-sale within 180 days. Yours don't seem to be the case.

What did it say when you couldn't log in? Incorrect user ID / password etc?

The e-mail/mobile number you are using is not connected to an Associates account. If the account was previously connected, please check your email inbox as the account may have been closed. Contact us with any questions.

So i called Amazon and got back in- I had used a different email- So Im good- now on to writing article!
I guess I have to wait to publish on Site Content before adding images?

Hi George, I found this tutorial for you.. Good luck!
Suzanne

Yes i have learned to do that- I am just stuck in doing product reviews on product I dont own. My site is about vinyl records turntables etc. I have owned some in the distant past but dont currently. Vinyl record sales is an emerging trend- reason I picked this niche and i am a musician

Thx

I write many product reviews in my niche and there’s no way I can buy them all to try, lol. I just do a lot of research and look at a lot of other reviews to get as much information as humanly possible. Especially others who leave user comments. It’s amazing how well you can write a review from all that.
I know there’s people who say don’t review it if you haven’t used it, but sometimes that’s just not possible.
Just do your best and offer a lot of valuable information.
Cheers

So I am about to put together third post on module 6- my site deals with vinyl records-turntables etc

I read in section 5 module about customer cycle- so I think I need t

It's a viable keyword choice, but the AVG isn't that big. What about this?

best vinyl turntables to buy - 103/13

It's more flexible. You can add to the title such as "5 best vinyl turntables to buy for just 500 or less" or whatever price you think the audience is comfortable paying.

From this "listicles" post of yours, you can potentially add more specific product reviews OR choose one or two products you are most familiar with to promote.

For example, inside "5 best vinyl turntables to buy...." , you'll mention;

Product A > let's say this is your most preferred recommendation, hence create an additional product review page entitled "Product A Review - Why You'd Love it Just" etc. and link it to that page. This is called internal links and the more you have them inside your blog, the more Google understands what keywords you should be ranked for.

Product B > maybe this is your second most recommended turntable. Do the same thing, create a specific product review and do the internal link.

Product C
Product D
Product F

This is how you want to structure all your posts moving forward. Think about how each article can connect to your previous and future posts, especially with specific product reviews, where you'd be placing the affiliate links.

Hope this makes sense. I see that you are starting to 'get the idea' :)

Hi Cathy - Not sure if you are online- I have put off doing this for a week- I gotta get back at it
I dont even own a turntable so i guess Im a bit spooked about figuring out how to come up with best 5 under $500?

Also i really didnt follow review page link? Is this my review of the product or link to someone else review of it? There are thousands of turntables out there literally- not sure exactly how to do review on producy i dont own?

Thx

Hi George,

> figuring out how to come up with best 5 under $500? > Follow the links that I sent on another message on how to write reviews for products you don't own.

> Is this my review of the product or link to someone else review of it? Ideally, you want to be linking to your own individual product review, not to other people's review as that may lead traffic away from your site.

For more mature sites, people usually link each product directly to their affiliate links, which means, visitors would click on them and be brought directly to the merchant site like Amazon.

I don't recommend doing that in the beginning because you'll loose the opportunity to engage with readers on a thorough product review page.

Hope this makes sense.

P/s - I am always online inside WA for couple of hours a day and check my emails regularly. So rest assured your message here will not be missed unless I have no access to the internet or something major happened.

So I reviewed first turntable- maybe you can look? I got my Amazon associate image placed - so that works. So I guess i can take the link from that page and put the link in my "Best 5 Turntables ..." Post?

Thx Cathy

Yes you are, sounds like you have made some good progress since the last time we chatted. This is great! Keep up the good work 🤗

Thx for the help and positive feedback. I noticed on one page I inserted photograph next to a bullet point list. On my iphone the photo moved the top item on my bullet point list to the top of photo? Kinda messed up the list?

so I found this keyword

"vinyl records price guide" avg-2709 Traffic -461 QSR- 27 SEO- 93
this looks like a good one to me? still new at this

AVG that's within the 1000s range can be deceiving sometimes. I usually aim within the 100s instead. You could try this one;

price guide for vinyl records - AVG/QSR = 338/17

It still carry the same meaning and you can spice up the title a bit like;

Price Guide for Vinyl Records - What You Should Know
Price Guide for Vinyl Records - Finding the Values and Profits
and etc.

Hope this helps.

That does help Thx Why are Avg deceiving sometimes though?

The high search volume could suggest that people are merely searching for information with no intention of buy anything.

For example, look at "cat breeds pictures" - AVG/QSR = 4576/47
I wouldn't use this keyword because;

1/ It's too short - only 3 words (go for 4 words or more)
2/ They are probably dominated by magazine/info sites that have been around for a long time. It's harder to outrank these sites as a beginner.
3/ The visitor intent is most probably just to see pictures and not taking any actionable task like purchasing something.

When you are writing "Price Guide for Vinyl Records", also think about how you can incorporate your affiliate offers at the end of the article.

It's nice to have informative posts once in a while, but pay more attention to funneling the readers to your main product review(s) where the money is.

Hope this helps.

Thx Cathy- I, of course, being new- haven't gotten to affiliate marketing yet so not really sure how to craft my article with that in mind?

It's okay. You'll get the idea as you follow along the training :)

Man, somebody is probably already writing a post with such a great keyword. Do not share such stuff if you want to build a site.

Ok- not sure how many here are doing a site on vinyl records- but who knows Thx

Looks like it falls under the category of easy to rank for and some decent monthly traffic, if the keyword fits nicely into a sentence that you would write in a post ... you will be on your way! Cheers,
Timo

Thx I was thinking of using as the heading for the post?
