Hi!
Is anyone signed up with SkimLinks or Viglink?
Are they working for you? Would you recommend them?
I am researching affiliate programmes for my home a
I chose Viglink because they promised me good analytics, excellent customer service, no minimum payout and have a good number of merchants.
thanks Ahimbe! So Viglink is going well fo you huh? Are you promoting WA or another service/product niche with VIglink?
I am using it on my new site where I am promoting WA. I haven't started getting the results but I see it is working fine since it has placed some affiliate links on the website.
I tried Viglink a few months ago, but I didn't like it. They just made random links. I prefer affiliate programs/networks.
I signed up for VigLink a while ago but just started using it two weeks ago. They make their own link to whatever you're writing about.
It's not niche related links either. I don't know if that's what you're looking for.
awesome! What do you mean 'not niche related'?
I understand you need quite a bit of content with Viglink to be approved, how many posts/pages do you have on your website approximately? This will give an good measure of where I am at in comparison.
Thank you!
I have 74 posts 33 pages. My site is about starting a backyard vegetable garden, herbs, and supplies.
Every time I publish a post VigLink automatically add links to anything that they recommend it should have a link to it.
For example. If I wrote, "I want to go home to tend my garden vegtables." Home, has a link to buy furnitures.
But garden and vegetables aren't.
Or if I say. "Don't forget to wear the right shoes to step in your garden."
Shoes, get a link to buy shoes.
I guess it's not a bad thing. 😁
My posts are from 500 to 1500 words.
I hope that answers your question. 😃
Thank you for the in depth explanation!
Awesome work with your post/page totals! I hope Viglink is profitable for you 😊
I have skimlinks installed on my site. I dont make much money with it but it is passive income and I am working with some of the merchants. So far I've made £30 with it, so it's more than I would have made without it.
It's better if you're working with more merchants linked with skimlinks, but as I'm in the MMO niche, there aren't many merchants to work with.
But overall, I think it's worth it.
I haven't used viglink, so it probably depends on which site has more merchants associated with the home appliance niche.
Hope that helps,
Steph
awesome! How long have you had Skimlinks for?
I understand you need quite a bit of content with Skimlinks to be approved, how many posts/pages do you have on your website approximately? This will give an good measure of where I am at in comparison.
Also, what is MMO?
I know their commission cut is high however they seem to take alot of guess work out of affiliate links.
Thanks Steph,
Gina
I've had Skimlinks since 2018 I think, It's been a few years. But I can't remember how many posts/content I had to be approved for it.
I currently have 170+ posts on my site, and my income from skimlinks comes primarily from 1 blog post.
MMO stands for make money online.
And you're right, they take a lot of the guesswork out of having to find affiliate links as they turn normal website links into affiliate links.
I do remember earning with Skimlinks very soon after adding the code to my site, so I can work quite well.
Hope that helps
Steph

I have never used it, but I've read a few times that with Viglink you need to have your Viglink settings set a certain way, and you need to not mention a company too many times, as it will create a link every time you mention an advertiser on their network.
So you need to write a certain way to make it work for you
noted, thanks Chris! I've come to understand that the automation of links can be a bit much sometimes.
I mentioned Home Depot, Wal-mart, and Lowes and they don't have a link. That's so weird.🤔 I must not mentioned them enough, I guess.
Yeah, I'm not sure as I've never used them. Maybe you need to look at your settings.
I thought about signing up, but never did in the end, as I wanted to do things the traditional way.

Hi all!
Is there a statistical dashboard in WA somewhere that gives a 'live' record/account of how many WA's are turning over a consistent income, and what this averages p
Hi all! Some good points and info shared - thank you!
I was meaning more the total number of WAs making money not at all their names or websites. Just a quick snapshot of numbers.
But yes, I can definitely appreciate the difficulty in tracking this given the numbers would be fluid from month to month.
Just curiosity more than anything, thank you 😊
Hey Gina,
That is a matter of privacy, and if those stats were to be posted and shared, many successful members would simply leave WA so that their stats would not be shared with the world.
Have you ever noticed how wealthy people don't talk about how much they earn?
If you want to learn of others successes, there IS an easier way. Check this out: 2019 Income Proof List Hope you find this helpful.
Hi - there would be no way of tracking that, and not all members here promote WA anyway, they will be using different affiliate programs.
The only stats available Gina are for yourself there are no stats you can see for other WA members as that is all private.
Go to the $sign then click stats all your information will be there.
If you want to look at other members success click the dashboard and scroll down till you see Success is Happening at Wealthy Affiliate you will also find as you scroll down other motivating posts as well
Alongside that, you will also see the top 10 posts where there are further success posts there.

Do we have wealthy affiliate stats?
